Ok so I may have a bit of a problem. Seems that a level 145 alpha raptor has made its way to my base. I know that the safe (and logical) way to deal with it is to chip away at its health with my 269 Argentavis until it's dead. However, this is gonna take forever, and I'm wondering if my Allo pack (levels 227, 238, 176, and 240 all with around 8k health and 400% melee) can take it on any faster/easier.

I can also bring a stego or ankylo (level 287 and 255, respectively) to front some of the damage

Can someone help me please, my game was working great until tried to download fjordur and my internet cut out in the middle so the install didn't work right. When I joined the server there were no textures only the grey checkerboard and my map was black. I tried to reinstall the DLC but when I launched the game again every time I would try to join the fjordur map on my cluster it would pull up the DLC in steam in the shift-tab menu(what happens when you try to join a map that you don't have installed). It would show that I had it installed on steam but wouldn't work so I figured I had to reinstall the game, so I uninstalled it but when I tried to reinstall it my drive was full and the only thing I could delete was the files of the ark that stay when you uninstall it. It kept my settings and characters and mods I had installed. I had to delete these to reinstall ark but I needed to keep my character because I was in the middle of a run, and I wanted to keep my game settings so I didn't have to redo them. I'm not super good with computers but I understand a bit so I thought I could do it by myself. I copied the ark files that stayed on my desktop and just planned to move them into the new download and hopefully it would give me my old character and inputs. It worked for the first launch but then I stupidly verified the integrity of my game files so it deleted the shit I put in there and now every time I launch the game all of my settings reset and my characters get reset. I don't know how to fix it. I tried to reinstall the game again and I tried to verify the integrity of the game files again but nothing will work. I think the files are read-only or some shit so even the game cant write but idrk how that works so I figured someone here would. Please Help.

Anyone here familiar with the Soul Trap stat info panel (dino storage V2 mod)? Trying to figure out what the parenthetical numbers mean. E.g. Oxygen stat is 12 and has "(-7)", in red, next to the number. I'm seeing various other stats that also have negative modifiers. These were all ravagers, autotrapped overnight.

I am assuming you were breeding them and looking at babies. The negative number shows the difference between where the current Stat is and what the highest Stat was from the parents.

So a 12 oxygen with a - 7 means that one of the parents had a 19 oxygen

Luckily not as bad as their second title (Atlas) SP, but you will run into many issues with it 😕
Transferring out is only possible on surface obelisks (if there are indeed no drops) or a transmitter you could cheat in i guess :/

Based just on what I've experienced, just don't play pvp at all unless you have a really competant tribe that is at least as large as the other tribes on that server (and online at least as often). And no, I don't think anyone's maintaining a list of which servers are toxic/bullying and which aren't.

If you place a 2 thatch fountain down relatively close together it stops stuff from spawning (it’s against the CoC on Servers but it’s fine on single player)

You could make stone fountains so they aren’t breakable by Dino’s or put gateways in a wall formation around it too, if You’re more of a builder you could make a like castle wall around it

It sounds like they're attempting to give the dino food by tapping A and tapping an inventory space like you would with a box. You can't do that with dinos, you have to hold A or double tap A.
