Hey folks. I crashed during spectator mode on my server (cluster, not Singleplayer) and now I'm greeted with a gray screen on login (to my player character). No amount of entering/exiting spectator fixes it. I can load other servers just fine.

Anyone had issues like this before?

Restarting the game also does not result in any change. I can log onto other servers and move around just fine.

I got it to allow me to clear the grey screen by entering spectator after rejoining, but it didn't let me move. Entering camera mode while spectating brought back the grey, but let me move the camera. Exiting spectator mode Took me out of camera mode but left me unable to move and in grey

sounds like you're in fullscreen mode and your cpu/gpu are throttling on swap

if you play in windowed mode it still freezes? then it definitely is throttling between cpu/gpu trying to compensate the swapping of graphicals. check the % util on them when you press windows (if you have 2 screens) if not, try running task on top

Anybody had the issue where you tried to transfer, it froze up. Restart game character is still at trans and can be played with. Can’t be uploaded says survivor already in upload. The uploaded character can’t be downloaded when you try your kicked to the Home Screen of the game and it says transfer failed so character can’t leave original map at all

it's not really to do with my connection, if when i was disconnected i was alive in a safe place(base) and when i return i was killed somehow with no bag, body, items, or hostile creature on a pve server within the time that i should have been able to recover items even if i was somehow killed within the safety of a closed base. which i wasn't, the babies beside me would have also been dead. which is why this is more a bug, then me just connecting and dieing to game mechanics

Hey everyone!

I’ve got a quick question/problem: I’m currently working on my rex mutations, and I don’t fully understand the system yet (I’ve watched a few videos but I haven’t completely grasped it). I managed to get my first melee mutations without too much trouble by stacking them on the father.

Now I’ve ended up with a male that has a second melee mutation, but the game shows 2 mutations on the mother’s side and 1 on the father’s side (even though only 2 total melee mutations were actually applied: 1 from the father and 1 from the mother).

Does anyone know why it’s counting 2 on the mother’s side, and whether I should keep this rex to continue my mutation line?

I think it's either a bug or a very weird complex mechanic, I'm mass breeding a 1/20 melee mutation rex with 0/20 females, all of them have same stats, other than some of them, they have 16 less oxygen for some reason, but when I check the eggs in incubator, for some reason some of the rexes tend to have less melee stat while having the mutation, i have a screenshot if that could help with understanding

Hello, I'm not sure what to do. I have been submitting tickets trying to get help with My overwritten player sicomelt last week(April 3) This happened when I was trying to log into 5970 Astraeos. It said I had a character there so I backed out but it overwrote the character anyways.
Despite my attempts to get assistance through survive the ark,(ticket2727937) nothing happened and I did not get her back.

I went and retrieved a player from an old map (sicoMelt), and my friends have been helping me to complete the alpha megapithicus and dragon Bosses on the island(5300) So that I could use the teleporter and transmitter with sicoMelt. 
Our server Astra 5970 was barely playable and still server capped after days so I brought supplies over to Astra 5980 with sicoMelt, built myself a little area there. When I tried to return to Astra 5970 (April 13) with this player, I was kicked and have not been able to find her anywhere since.

Despite having reported both of my losses, I have nothing back and am starting over yet again with another player. I don't know what to do.
I've lost all of my skill tree, notes that I've done and boss fights that I've done and I just am looking for some direction on how I can get help because my tickets are just immediately sent to solved.

Hi, had a report from one of the members of our unofficial that they're experiencing cryopod issues. They're pulling out dinos from the cryofridge (no mods to do with cryos active, using vanilla cryos/fridges) and the dinos are dying/ pods are running down from full charge to dead after bringing out. I think I remember hearing about this bug a few weeks ago but I can't find anything about it now. We're going to do a rollback to fix their losses but in the mean time does anyone know what's triggering this/ how to avoid it after we rollback? Doesn't seem tied to the duping bug from recently, as all the pods have weight and the dinos are not duped creatures from that time

Anyone know how to fix this bug? I play PvP servers on ASE on series x. Every 2-10ish minutes it kicks me to the main menu and says “ connection timed out: lost connection to the host” it only does it on certain maps and it’s different with each server. steam (and prob epic) has the best performance for pc so the xbox app version def won't run better. the gpu should be at 98-99% so that's fine. not sure what your specs are, but you really need to be very close to, at or above the listed recommended specs. an ssd is required, too

Is there anything that can be done against a player who leaves bases strewn over the map? Guy started in one spot, then moved slightly farther down the river. His old base is now just a fence shell that won't decay because it visits regularly (Even when decay is turned on). Then he abandoned THAT base to go onto a beachfront slightly north from there. On ASE the only thing you really need is a cryopod and a Maewing to have a super easy time raising babies.
The roo will give you double imprint affect while in the pouch of a mate boosted roo

So a cuddle will do 10% instead of 5% (up to 100%)

I recommend making a copy of the host local folder

To have a backup of your single player maps if something happens while moving files

Btw someone knows why on my island single player all dinos have ass levels? I have the max difficulty option and the difficulty on 1x, which is the most you get by only moving dot in the line on configuration, do they cancel each other or its because of the map?

It's the island. All story maps have crappy levels.
If you're playing on PC, there is mods to change the spawn level weight

Does anyone have tips for reducing lag? I’ve been revisiting/finishing my old ASE extinction world (ps5), and today was experiencing some extreme lag. I recently tamed a pair of gigas, and after hatching ~30 eggs at once I started to notice lag. I have a hard time believing that some gigas and a 4x4 platform is causing enough lag to make walking through my base and navigating my inventory impossible, so I was wondering if anyone knew what to do?

helloo! having some trouble on a non dedicated server (ASA) where all of a sudden the tether distance is super small, around 10 meters. It was fine one second and wasn't the next like it changed without even restarting the game or anything lol.
I've tried a couple things but honestly cant find much info on this, all the fixes are for ASE XD.
Any ideas are appreciated!!

@cedar oar i'm not quite following what you want to accomplish, you never installed/played ASA but you had characters on ASE and with the restore you want to restore those ASE chars onto ASA? ASE officials is gone. Nothing get's transferred from ASE to ASA.

Chances are the hit box will be under the ice Huell. You'll most likely have to lure it out before knocking it out though to prevent it from drowning.

What is the cutoff time where you can no longer use a weapon before transfer timer or else it will be untransferrable? Yesterday I used a fabi sniper like 2-3 minutes before timer rolled. I never reloaded it. And I was unable to transfer it when the timer rolled. This has happened many times in the past. Just confused what the cutoff time is where I can no longer use something or else I’m at risk of not being able to transfer it. I know it’s not 15 full minutes
