Custom cosmetics problem: only paid cosmetics show up in my “apply cosmetics” tab in game

I am supposed to have cosmetics like Astreos's collection, CastleCraft's interior deco collection (not to be confused with the paid set, Dwarven Architecture, and a couple plaer armor cosmetics. I also have two cosmetic packs I paid for: the new Elven Structures, and the primary Castle Craft set; the two paid ones work, but the rest do not show up

Anyone have any ideas how to fix the inventory crashing, i have disabled menu transitions and still not having any luck. It seems that the biggest base game issues got fixed by Wildcard. I can't tell you yet when the next update for Astraeos drops to fix the most important bugs but hopefully it's soon!

For now please avoid to do the Hydra bossfight or do it at your own risk. It seems that when the server fps are low, you fall through the floor when teleporting, nasty bug.

Other known issues:

• OSD Loottable changes don't work
• 50/50 base destroying bug (Still being investigated)
• Basilo is getting damaged even in shallow water
• Material/Texture issues
• Meshholes

Those are the most important ones which will be adressed with the next update. There is more to fix of course, just listed the biggest bugs here.

Veilwym when in companion mode gets knocked out/killed. Cool down timer goes, when the cool down timer expires, the veilwym doesn't appear and the companion whistle disappears. @carmine lance are crashes on ps5 being looked into. On unoffical clusters with mods on i can not seem tp play on astraeos. It will keep crashing me everytime i play on the map so on certain clusters i cant leave the map. I have tried restoring cache on ps5 uninstalling reinstalling mods. Uninstalling the game. But seems to be an issue with the game itself and how mods are not optimized for ps5. Only thing i havent tried yet is factory resetting my ps5

the lost colony boss fight platform needs changing.. other people's dinos come with even if they arent online therefore ruining the tribes run who supplied the tributes

as the player / tribe progress through the areas any and all dinos left behind should automatically tp to come along instead of having the timer reduces on the final bridge to the lost king fight and you get 9mins to figure out what was left behind

this was possible with the rockwell prime fight, as doors closed behind all creatures that didnt make it though teleported with to the next room

there are different classes (files and configs) for the male and female player characters, with their own anims/audio.. player data has a single 0/1 value that determines if male or female, and you get the male or female character class when spawning. that is it

not really any way that could happen unless it is janky mods or a game-wide bug, and i have seen nobody else report that issue

there is no data for voice on the player savefile. i actually wanted to change that in a mod and found it is basically impossible to edit, all the sounds are embedded in the animations or player class

start by not trusting anything shat out by AI, since that is all nonsense. wildcard has not worked on ASE for about 4 years now. servers shut down, it has not had any events since. a different studio took it over and briefly revived it with a poorly made DLC, servers for that are also down. if you are playing pre-aquatica, that is roughly the 2023 version of the game.. so it also wont get any "support" since it is frozen in 2023

hi - we tamed 2 grand tortuga on ast and have bought them back onto the island as we are main basing there, i set them to breed last night and watched the egg mesh - i left them out overnight and put an oviraptor right by them and have logged in with enough time for 2 eggs based on our server rates (i even logged into them just finishing mating and saw the little hearts above the dinos) to check the oviraptor and there are no eggs in it that are fertilised, only x1 unfertilised giant tortuga egg - is anyone else having an issue with them breeding these atm with the eggs dissapearing? other dinos being left on mating is fine and fertilised eggs are being collected by oviraptors without issue just seems to be the grand tortuga.... if anyone else is having this issue or knows a way around it thank you! (the dinos are placed on foundies / ceilings as well so the egg isn't hitting the floor)

And then just now, my own toon, I was on top of my base in my greenhouse when the servers went off (right from the 20 minute warning to the servers being taken down) and found myself at the bottom of the base when I logged in. The past few times I've bred my grand t, the eggs haven't been picked up. I bred the tortuga again just now, individually and hanging about under their asses to get the egg. Threw em all in the incubator, picked out the ones I don't want. Didn't let me eat them. So threw em on the floor in front of the ovi. The ovi picked em up and ate them immediately. I used to play on Xbox but just downloaded the game on PC. All my saves from Xbox came with it which was a nice surprise, I'm assuming because of gamepass. But nothing I do on PC saves.

(Xbox one s) Hello so recently I started a world on astreaos and I played it for a couple days and it kept crashing then once I couldn’t join the world without crashing immediately and I tried maybe 80+ times until I decided to just wipe it and removed most the mods I had (at the time I had vanilla with sprinkles, evo trex, giga, and theri, a stacking mod, ders Dino finder and the arcocanthosaurus) I removed all of the evo ones because I heard a problem and it was fine for a while but yesterday it did the same thing and I’m wondering if this is a temporary problem or something if I should wait to make a new world or if it’s just because Xbox sucks and i legit just can’t play this game . I’ve made save backups and they worked but it would just always end up me losing hours of work I’m thinking of just making a world with just vws mod and nothing else will I still run into that crashing?

Easiest is to rent a server from nitrado. If you have a spare PC that can run ark you could host it. You had to know a little about networking / firewalls and server setup. All of that is online too you just need to look it up.

You can't craft rep in the fabricator. That first replicator has to be trip to an obelisk.

You could do it at one point in time back on ase though and I think the tooltips and descriptions haven't been corrected since then.

Hello, on an official pvp server my tribe has a very decent base. Slot capped heavy’s, industrial equipment, etc. but one of my tribemates just took all of our arbs and sold them to a discord group to get a transmitter, a maxed out carcha, and mantis. Which at first seemed fine but then he didn’t let anyone else use them. As the tribe leader, I thought about banishing him, because selling all our arbs is 1 thing but restricting access form all the things obtained from it is another.

define "fix", your GPU is crashing. that means your GPU is either broken, misconfigured, has some sort of severe software issue, or some other part of your PC is broken

It's not just one or 2 maps it's the whole game. Different players are having different experiences. For some, it's fine, for others it's slowly falling apart or just not working at all.

They were talking about corrupted save data causing the crashing and then they did a patch, then the patch failed. Since then they've only updated the servers.

I’m still having issues with my drakeling. I can’t figure it out.

When it’s in my hand, it does not continuously melee attack or breathe fire, even when repeatedly clicking both mouse buttons. I’ve also tried holding them down one at a time. No success. I’ve also tried waiting 20-30 seconds to see if there’s some sort of cool-down timer. Still no success.

The only way I can get it to use its attack again is to re-shoulder it, then re-place it in my hand. Then it can attack a single time once more, but no more than once.

Can someone else confirm that this is happening to them as well, please? This is driving me absolutely bonkers. I really hope it’s just a WC glitch, because if it’s not, then I have no idea how to fix it on my end. 😑

I am unable to queue repairing and other build jobs in replicator - has this changed? I used to be able to take all my gear off and put it in the replicator and then right click "repair" go to next item rinse and repeat it would queue. What's up with the steam punk skin on single player? I put the skin on a wall and either when I replace it with another skin or remove that skin my wall becomes invisible to the game. I can still see the metal wall, but I'm able to walk through it.

I have been crashing and getting "GPU crash dump" and "invalid access exception violation" errors every time I try to play ark survival ascended. It has been working fine for years up until yesterday.

No new hardware was installed. I'm using windows 11 with a 4070 ti, ryzen 9 7900x, and 32gbs of ddr5 ram so spec wise it should be more that fine to run it.

I have tried at LEAST 13 things mentioned on Google and other threads. Including doing a clean installation of drivers, changing the tdr values in registry, reseating ram, checking file integrity, uninstalling armoury crate, reinstalling the game, clearing shader cache and a bunch more. I also occasionally blue screen.

I have no idea what to do now. Any ideas?

Ok. Had a 3060 gpu, it got borked out of existance. Now I have a 5060 and ARK's rendering is borked. I've tried many settings, no matter how high or low, I still get blurry hair and blurry map.

When I've treied the various texture settings, my performance gets nuked. But r.texturestreaming 0 does fix the issue.

you using oviraptor ? if you do there is a bug with tortugar fert egg atm they give 3 pts food not like normal eggs that give 100 food so no matter what oviraptor will eat them first so make sure it's 100% full food before breeding

Save files have gotten corrupted on occasion since ASE, it may just be general corruption. Back it up & try without the mods again, and if it doesn't crash, reenable them a few at a time to see if one is causing it

See, I've done that before too. I was making backups every time I did anything significant in game. Then when it started a crash loop, I went to the backups and the first thing I noticed that was wrong is there was only 2 and those 2 backups were from over 2 months ago. So, I don't really trust backups anymore

Lol has anyone else had problems with light pets in the houses in the new astraeos expansion at the city? Not sure it ifs because of mods but I've found that putting one on inside the houses causes it to go crazy bright and ruins the games colour grading somehow, i'm talking the house is literally glowing (you can see it on the outside) and the colours sometimes get inverted

Therizinos and chalicos both work for all but aberration rockwell and sky titan but they struggle with megapithicus due to its high knockback. They can take it down but takes a while.

Oh and obviously don't work with Moeder since it's a underwater boss.

They aren't as bad as they used to be in ASE since they don't waste points in movement speed anymore. Get ones that tame out with 40 points in melee and health and they'll get you through alpha dragon and overseer with a blueprint for 70+ armor saddles and veggie cakes. If you're worried get 4 deinotheriums (1 male and 3 females) in the army for the extra buffs.

I went to pick him up and added him to my tribe (Sin), where I am the owner. Then, by mistake, instead of me adding him to my tribe, Dain added me to his tribe.
But due to a lack of understanding, Dain kicked me out of his tribe and then left his own tribe as well. However, since we weren't home at the time, we didn't realize the problem (the initial respawn point was quite far from our home). We invited each other to join the tribe owned by KhungLong (who currently holds the entire tribe history).
