the boss fight does require ya to do some outposts there but unfortunately, the map is not optimized for console so more often than not, your game will crash and your progress will be reset by up to 30 minutes

there's no good way to tell ya think but Lost Colony is garbage on Single Player, even more so on consoles

what can I do when hostiles aren’t spawning in OSDs and Element nodes? it’s so boring and desperating having to wait several minutes with X hostiles remaining and none of them spawning nor attacking

“2 hostiles remaining” none of them nearby but 3-4 minutes later a random dilo or paracer spawns and then wave ends, how can I fix this?

some hostiles even get stuck against rocks and don’t even attack, both osds and nodes need some rework cause they ain’t working well

Can't be certain if this is the case with the one you encountered. But LC has an issue with low level dinos that don't have any points in HP. They will sometimes show has having 0/0 HP which makes it so they can't be killed even with admin kill command. Only way I've found is to force tame them, stick them in cryo then throw them back out. It forces the game to recalculate the HP and then they can be killed. Had it happen with a few different types of dinos not just Malwyns.

A friend of mine just changed his server from Extinction to Lost Colony and I'm having trouble loading in. If I let the intro cutscene load and run through, It sends me back to the main screen with the Timed Out popup, same with skipping it as it puts me on a black screen where I can see the main menus new snow effect from the LC background before giving me the Timed Out prompt a few minutes later. There is "Cryo Sickness Protection" mod I used when ASA first released. There's a new consumable mod that was showcased on beyplaysgames that prevents you from getting cryosickness for an amount of time. "Randis cryo sickness immunity pill"
There's also many good cryo mods like "Pelayori's Cryo Storage (Crossplay!)"

hey, so I have been searching aberration (ASA) for about 7 hours total now just making laps around the fertile lake and can't seem to find any bee hives. I spent so long looking I ended up spawning in a tek helmet to try and find some and when that didn't work I installed a dino finder mod and still can't seem to find any. does anyone know if there is some glitch causing them not to spawn in, or am I just getting extremely unlucky?

I am very upset right now. We lost a ton of stuff that doesn't make sense and the ticket system says it's down because of high volume. A tribemate and I were on SE last Thursday. He has been back to the map since then. We hatched a bunch of megalania eggs to add to our tribe tower and he spent most of the day just flying around the map because he was working on his skill try. My tribemate logged on there a couple hours ago to find most of our stuff had decayed, but not everything. The thing is, the stuff that decayed doesn't even make sense. We lost some stone structures, all adobe, but not all stone. The tribe tower, which is right next to the base where we log in and out and keep all our stuff was fine. It has the same timer as adobe. The stone building next to with a longer timer was gone. Seeing as it had only been a couple of days, everything should have been safe but it's all gone. I don't understand. It looks like a bunch of other people lost random stuff too.

hey, so I have been searching aberration (ASA) for about 8 hours total now just making laps around the fertile lake and can't seem to find any bee hives. You need all Island explorer notes except the 2 bob tall tales, which you’ll probably get nonetheless

But you won’t get an additional 10 levels for that. To get the 10 levels you need to get all island, scorched earth, aberration, extinction (and by now probably) lost colony notes. The only ones not necessary are the Bob tall tales + taming dossiers of cat, griffin etc. (tames you get the dossier after taming the Dino)

wild levels include the bonus levels from taming effectiveness so post tame stats matter.

when breeding the wild (and TE levels) have a 55% chance to pass the higher stat down and a chance for mutation to make it higher.

variants can't breed. abbarant, tek, wyverns, etc.

Every time I transfer now, when I end up on the server I am transferring to nothing loads, and I de-sync until I DC. Done it like 5x.

My friend has been downloaded the game for 18 hours. When she updated today, her already downloaded files just went nowhere, the game complains that there is not enough disk space (although there was enough) and simply multiplied the game's storage by 2 times after the update. What can be done? This is a common problem, many of my friends leave the game only because it is simply not possible to update it often. Progress always stops at some figure. Or it is not possible to download, because the game is being updated at that moment and no matter what you do, the game does not see the downloaded files. And asks you to install the game again.

in general, if you interrupt the download in some way, even for me it is rare, but it happens. If it gets interrupted, I have that problem too. And either file integrity verification very rarely helps me, or I have to download the game again. But I have it swinging with all the additions for 4 hours, and my friend has 18 hours. Now she freaked out and deleted the game. Maybe someone knows the solution? Previously, something was advised with file verification... it only helped me.

So I recently got ASA about a week ago but it was so laggy and nearly everything was pixilated when I first spawned in so I changed some settings and eventually just put everything to the lowest settings and it's still pretty laggy and things are still pixilated at a distance.... it's pretty much to the point the game isn't playable. I've also played in single player for a few hours and runs the same as playing on servers with a ton of huge bases around

I've watched YouTube clips and have changed settings around to increase performance but so far nothing has help and in order to make it some what "playable" graphics are set to the lowest levels along with different codes (such as volumetriclouds 0 and others) turned off to try to help but still does nothing

From what I have read I should be able to run Asa just fine with over 380gb of space free and no issues running other large games

(Also if I trun my graphics higher then medium my game will crash before the graphics will even load)

Are there any workarounds for the broken radial menu after this last patch? On PC, playing with a controller, the radial menu no longer registers diagonals as all the way to the edge, even though I'm pushing the analog stick as far as it can go.
