This is an issue that been going for months now, Devs havent say anything about it and no solutions that are efficient either. Ive tried re installing the game, restarted router, lowered settings, restarted servers, removing mods. The only thing that "works" is if someone kills you and to make sure to die everytime you log out so next time you get on it will let you respawn at a bed (put your stuff in a container to not lose everything). But would be nice if we really get a solution for this. It happens to a lot of people @carmine lance @heady dawn @naive grail @unique sandal

Yes, this sometimes happens on Xbox if the map doesn’t install correctly. In my case, forcing the map installation in the store fixed it, and I was able to start Valguero in single-player normally.

I've been breeding dunkies, just regular ones, for a while now and have gotten a number of color mutations in the R1 region. This isn't used in ASE, but I noticed very quickly that it is used in ASA to color the back spines on either side of the main fin. However, the color extractor mod we use doesn't pull it, and the spyglass shows the R1 as N/A even though it's clearly being used in some regard. Is this something in the dunkie's vanilla makeup, or something in the mods you think?

My guess is a memory error. How much memory do you have available? I upgraded from 32 to 64 GB this year and it really helped.

Could be running into a place with a ton of tames or spawns, or a huge build, or a memory leak issue. Lots of things can do it. Settings as well. 16GB is the minimum requirement, so I would hope you're playing on low settings. If not, that may help some as well.

Try to transfer your character that exists (or newly made one) out of the server to another one, and then join the original server when ur char is out of it. Not sure if it will help but for me it did give me back my char list to upload upon joining

you dont have enough video memory. high res shadows means way more memory used for shadow data, less available for loading textures. if you ahve 8GB or less VRAM, you want textures and shadows on low or medium

Not sure if I experience the same issue. Sometimes I log into official and I only see the inside of my characters head. I lay back down on the bed or mount a creature and the camera corrects itself. Hope that helps you as well.

Depends on the hoster, however, we still usually suggest manually doing it. You can check with your hoster, but, we do it by deleting the following three files and then restarting: .steam, .cache, and steamapps.

This forces it to pull the newest files, so that nothing is left like an artifact of a previous patch.

fix your computer. if it is BEdaisy.sys error every time, that almost always means you have some severe memory corruption or other stability issues. could also be interference from some kernel level malware/shitware

It doesn't freeze but it does fully crash after a second or two. All the assets are there, but all color is lost. I still see the bushes, my tame, etc. It's just that they flicker to white and then it crashes to desktop.

I have seen some Ark YouTubers deal with this in the past so I don't think it's a hardware problem, plus my PC holds up fine in other demanding games.

well, that is weird as hell. the graphics issues may be a symptom, not the cause. the error is near useless, but sounds like a bug, but any sort of stability issue. all i can suggest is wiping the config folder to restore default graphics config and settings

and by change each time, you mean the whole error changes, or just a memory address?

random, ever-changing errors are usually a near sure sign of memory corruption or other hardware issues

I'd have to check again if it crashes since I think it was different the first time, but I know at least twice it seemed different. I've also definitely seen this happen a few times from various Ark content creators in their vids so it's an oddly specific Ark problem.

I had this happen once on a modded map but reinstalling all mods seemed to fix it, even ones I wasn't using (just to be safe). Perhaps something got corrupted after the update or something. I'll try clearing the config folder and restoring graphics configs and settings as well as just fully loading in vanilla and see if that helps.

I have had it since it came out and its even showing I have some of the engrams unlocked but I cant unlock anymore even though I have points. I’ve come across an issue, on extinction I’m on a bridge and I’ve been there for around 7 months. The water butts have stopped filling up. I’ve removed them, replaced them. If you go into the aberration zone via the waterfall drop cave in the north east part of the map and follow the tunnel down to the portal. Facing out into the zone from the portal there is a metal bridge to the right. At the very bottom of the bridge closest to the portal are 3 gas veins right up against the wall of the cave

It’s a rubber banding issue but it occurs when looking around too, my screen attempts to snap back to where it looked before. I’ve been imputing a list of commands like volumetric fog/clouds etc and they all result in the rubber banding coming back altering any of my graphics settings also results in this happening.

probably not? at a guess, the pot just records the tree's mesh file and then uses it's default material. the trees in the map probably use a modified material without copying the whole mesh

i dont know how long the period is for calculating framerate, but it is usually a couple seconds at most. stutter and microfreezes will result in basically meaningless fps numbers
