Like if you tamed a carcha that got 40points in melee and then got 254 mutations on it so it was 40 | 254 | 0 but then got a carcha that had 60 points in melee would you be able to put the better wild stat on it or would you have to start over with the 60pt one

No that mutation is stuck with that base stat, if the baby gets the mutated stat (health for example) it will take the mutated parents base health stat along with the mutated health points

I'm on ps5, I am unable to join my friends dedicated server, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache, reset my motem, they have even started a new server with the old backup and it was a no go, it keeps saying connection timed out, no structures load or anything when I do eventually load in if I'm lucky but then I get booted again

Make sure you both have Ark fully updated and are on the same patch. Hard restarting both consoles fixes it most of the time. If the server is marked as "private'' nobody will be able to join even if you invite them. It could also be your internet causing the problems.

Hi all, I’m coming here with a rather annoying issue. Friday morning I played the game like usual, imprinted some babies then logged out, then when I tried to log in later in the evening but got greeted by the message “You have been globally banned” (official servers) single player works. So like a normal person I submitted a ticket because I haven’t done anything worthy of getting banned… today I received a response to that ticket saying that there are no records of my OSS ID being banned. That’s it, no other information from the staff… so my question here is… has anyone been through this before? Has it been resolved?

Hey guys, I need help. I play on PS5 and had the game uninstalled. I started downloading it. I wanted to play, but when I tried to enter a nitrous, it wouldn't let me join because it gave me an error: not enough space in the mod storage, delete old ones to download. The problem is that I have nothing in the list of my installed mods. When I click on any option, the same thing appears. I've already restored licenses, uninstalled the game, and deleted local and online save data. The problem persists, and I literally can't use my game. I need help because I'm feeling scammed.

Anyone know anything about the ARK Smart Breeding App and why I cant import my dreadnoughts? I thought maybe because they were babies, then tried even after full grown and imprinted but get more issues with the sums even though all the points in each section are accurate. My ASA loads fine. I can get into official servers and single player, but as soon as I go to load into unofficial my CPU runs at 95%, shortly after a while my game will just shut down. I thought it was mods then corrupted files, or battle eye, I’ve hotfixed all of the possible reasons I can think of. But I still can’t figure out why it keeps doing this.

Okay, so I have a Nitrado server for Val. And you can't get into it as soon as you wake up; you don't even get a full animation, you sometimes just get the music. And everybody's lagging out; nobody's been able to actually stay on longer than fifteen seconds. I've tried restarting the server, even removing my mods and putting them back on. Nothing seems to be working. Does anybody know if that's happening all around or if that's just my server?

I really hope the odd rubberbanding effect I’m getting is something that’ll be fixed next update.

I run a semi-dedicated (technically dedicated but only active part of the time) on my pc cos it has enough RAM etc and makes cross play coop easier.

Usually doesn’t have issues but on every map today I’ve had instances where I can’t bite for like, 20 seconds? Then teleport back somewhere… I’ve had to avoid anywhere environmentally dangerous cos I could teleport into something hazardous like lava.

I think the mods were a really cool idea, but they have not only divided what community you had as a server if you're running your own, because some people don't like the mods, some people can't play it because of the mods, some people wanted different mods, and you only have a limited amount of space and they're constantly updating. So it was just a hassle, but I think it was a great idea. I just don't know if it was worth it. It lost my entire community that I had for years since 2018. Now I only have six players out of I don't know how many.

im farming for its unique saddle that adds 2 varient types to it, both with 90% dodge, so with those, plus the 90% dodge of its natural Soul type, plus 43% dodge from my affinity token item...this thing is going to be near unhittable.

the ones i like most are Omega, primal fear/chaos (for Ascended) and Primal Nemesis but Omega simply has more to do, and the unique saddles are game changes

thats another downside of official, if it was unofficial could have used something like the S+ gun, it can remove things meshed

I think that might not be the main cause, currently struggling with it as well, attempted to fully close steam, reopen, log out and back in, logged out, fully closed steam after and reopened and relogged, still nothing. Seems atp it might be an underlying patch/update issue causing this

I did figure out if you do have the issue you can launch the Ark Ascended file in the win64 folder, you can link ur account to epic games through there only issue is you can only play The Island
