For anyone having the milestone bug related to mounted XP and causing harvest lag and timeout. You need to finish that milestone task. For anyone on single player or server where you have admin, you can use a cheat to finish it to unbug. Use "cheat ListCurrentMilestoneIDs", then use "cheat ProgressMilestone Task.GainXPAquaticGroupB". The task.gain... needs to be what ever ID the bugged task you currently have and that first command will tell you the name. Please fix wildcard.

I think it means theyre your favourites, just click on it and click remove from favourites and they normally disappear. For servers that are online when that happens you have to click it then click refresh and they pop up. Or at least thats whats happning on ps5.

torpor is a fixed percentage of final damage. crossbow is significantly better than rifle at equal quality

Be careful with crossbow over rifle though. It does more damage, and thus more torpor, but as such a higher level crossbow is more likely to kill the dino if its a lower health dino. Just be sure to use dododex for the calculation there.

It seem a common issue and no soloution available. As longer as you play on Singleplayer, it gets worse. I cant play astraeos anymore cause of that shit. Ragnarok is okay so far but Crashes are comming more often. Even with 3 Backupssaves i only are able to use the oldest one.

Evo Giga has a lower drag weight and can fight bosses same as a rex, the only real limit is how many rexes and evo gigas you can fit into the teleportation circle at once. You can bfing up to 20 total in any combination long as you can get them to fit in the the teleport zone

It's just the setting for relative "difficulty" so official is "5" I believe.

The easiest way I've found to confirm this is if all the dino's have levels in multiples of the difficulty. I.e. 145/120/65...

If it's a private server you may need to wipe the dino's to have them spawn correctly.

that's an ini setting you can add to override the game difficulty to go above max lvl 150. as far as difficulty offset, that is the menu slider. that goes between 0.1 - 1, with 1 being max lvl 150 with "maximum difficulty" enabled

hello, i have a problem since the launch of the 5.5 update the map, some dinos and the floor texture for the steampunk skin have all went blurry before the update i used this command sg.TextureQuality 4 to bypass this issue but it doesn't appears to work anymore, since then the only thing i found to fix the textures is r.streaming.fullyloadusedtextures 1 but by doing so it tanked heavily my fps, i have also tried various graphics presets to solve this issue but it doesn't work so my question is does anyone have a solution for this problem ?

Hi my game crashed and I think the save corrupted, as when I try to load back into my (single player) world it crashes pretty much instantly after the loading screen.

Even worse, it doesn't seem to be loading my backup saves, as when I click them to load them and override the current save, it just doesn't do it and the backup saves are still there. Any help or fixes?

Yea, me and a friend of mine got it too after the update from yesterday. I run a private server and tried everything like clean install, no mods, no individual configs. It works fine for island, but for example not on ragnarok. Then i tested to join officially listed servers with ragnarok and got the same error, so it is not my server. I also reinstalled ark... since a lot of people are running into that issue currently (as you can see in steam community forum) I think we just have to wait or play like on an older version, as some people suggest (we dont want that tho)

Screen going black every few seconds and stays black for 1-2 secs then back into the game. Worked beautifully 1-2 months ago but upon returning to a fresh server its currenty unplayable. LOOKING FOR HELP: In Ark: Survival Evolved, I've run into an issue where pressing a number key for the hotbar illuminates the button showing the game recognizing the keypress, but the item does not equip. Consumables in the hotbar work as normal. But, none of my equippables will work. They have no durability, so it's not an issue of repair. Having trouble, I'm stuck on the 'Refreshing Ark Inventory' anytime I access a transmitter or even box inventories and I get kicked or disconnected within 30 seconds each login, even if I don't open my inventory. I've done everything I can from reinstalling the game, to getting my character killed, and getting help from server moderators. Any tips?

• Dying and retrieving items
• Fast Traveling through beds
• Reinstalling the game and all its dlc
• Deleting save data

The issue started when I transferred via a supply drop within an unofficial cluster, and when I loaded in, I was missing 2 pieces of gear and my implant.

If you're still having this issue, you likely have a trough or other ranged structure set to make that range visible, just go around and look for the offending structure.

Hi I play on evolved solo. I did my 1st cave and since then no créature ever respawn :/ it’s the center cave on the island

Try using the console command DestroyWildDinos (this does exactly what you think and will help open up spawn slots), then keep it out of render and let stuff start to respawn.

Unfortunately on solo things don't respawn as often as they should because the map only loads the radius you're in, so it may take it awhile to go "hey, there needs to be stuff here"

Time also doesn't pass when you're offline, contributing to the lack of spawns

Yeah that should help! Unfortunately ark solo is insanely inconsistent because its not running all the time

May also help to tweak settings like resource respawn times, so stuff like artifacts respawn quicker

Probably go do other caves while you wait too, idk the Center caves too well so I unfortunately don't have recommendations

Regardless though don't let it turn you away, Ark is a great game and one of my first console games ever, I've had plenty of good memories and its a blast when things go well or atleast crash in a spectacularly entertaining manner. I'd highly reccomend looking into some non-dedicated pve servers, less bugs and you get to talk to people, rarely do i meet non-dedicated pve players that are particularly rude besides maybe stealing stuff every now and again or building too close

To clarify, on your usual pve server no one can "steal" unless your chests are unlocked or you leave your body out and it gets killed, so you're safe, anytime you get stolen from its likely just user error

Something else you can try, if your PC can handle it (because keeping everything up can be pretty taxing), is to run your game in no hibernation mode. Just add -preventhiberation into the launch options. Should help with spawns in general, not just caves.

I think i know why, try telling em to hold R1 and then press R2 , not to try pressing together. It will only accept one of the inputs I feel and its not gonna activate the flame boost if its attacking animation is playing, I find more success in holding r1 first and making sure you are stood still

If meshing is your issue, I don’t believe that there’s a setting to fix it. Usually, that happens when you’re pressed up against or running along a steep surface, so flying or jumping up those would improve your games visual quality

unless you are playing on a server that is on 360, you should be on 358 (preaquatica 'beta'). later versions are incredibly broken. hard drives are also too slow for the game to function correctly, it will load exceedingly slowly and crash in many situations

you need to disable “dynamic cosmetic downloads” this downloads cosmetics mods of other random peoples bases so you can see it. you need to as well go in mod tab and select “uninstall all mods” after you have done this, restart game and should be good to go
