Cave at 33.3 72.9 on Astreos is crazy bugged. Every time I farm any rock in it, it freezes and kicks me from the game. I come back dead even though I’m in a tek suit with element on me. I sometimes have to leave and then walk back on something slower so it loads in but they are still there working. If you take a whip and toggle their poi via the tracking list you can smack the whip at where it says they are and it should move around showing it is still active. As long as you have it in a place where it can still do what it is set to it will continue sorting items even tho you can't see it.

I wouldnt go used but thats just preference. You are looking at a 5060ti for about 350-400, and a 3080 10gb goes for about 500$ these days. Personally I would take the 3080. Its slightly better performance aa far as I can tell. For an extra 100$ i would suggest just saving or instead considering a 4070 or something mid range rather than going used. But thats preference

Are you logging out before they respawn? That is sometimes an issue with SP. If you log out before they respawn, they sometimes won't spawn back, at least for a long time.

Well I've been trying to set up a simple ASA dedicated server on TheIsland_WP on a new machine with a fresh windows 11 install and fresh ASA dedicated server install from SteamCMD (tried reinstalling everything a couple of times), no matter the args I put in a .bat file (verified that they are right like 50 times) the server will stay stuck on ticking loop forever with yellow light next to status. The last log shown is the number of cores. The server is set up exactly the same as on my last machine (was a fresh install of windows 11 on the same day as the new one. Just a slower machine with less ram and cpu), firewalls are set up exactly the same as well, windows versions are the same and all. On the older machine it works flawlessly. On the new one it never worked. Can't find out why. The one on my older machine I started just now and starts up fine and I can join from the game. Also tries on the new machine just before and again stays stuck on ticking loop. Thanks in advance if anyone can help. Ports are forwarded correctly in the router as well. (Not my first time hosting at all)

We own servers through Nitrado. We run the S dino mod as well as several others. Seems Wild Card has disabled Reaper pregnancies on rag even for private servers we pay for every month. Was trying to do a community event. No pregnancy reaper was ready and didnt even do damage to players when going through the animation of pregnancy. Never had any issues doing this on any map on ASE. Wtf wild card. Why make us pay Nitrado every month if we cant do what we want with our communities like this. Thanks a lot

Hiya, just started a abb playthru ASA through Nitrado. The water and dinos keep flickering in and out of existence, as well as my player model. Is there a fix for this? Playing on PS5.

For anyone having a bug where when you harvest, it collects very slowly and if you do it too much you can get timed out. I had this until I progressed my three skill tree goals to the next page, away from two goals to get 250k XP and 1250k mounted XP. I think one or both was the cause while it tracked.

Hi everyone ! I need some help, I've started a non-dedicated server on ASA with two other people and sometimes we have a bug we don't really understand. We can't place structures, it's not that the placement is wrong, it's that nothing happens when we select the structures in the inventory.
Sometimes this is the case for all the structures and other times it's just one. There may be just one person affected by the bug, or 2 or 3, it's completely random. When this happens, we give the structures to others so that they place them. But when it happens to all the players, the only way to solve this is to leave the game and come back.
We play with a lot of mods, but they're mostly mods that add creatures, there are a few structure mods, but they don't change the vanilla structures. I play with the same mod in solo and I've never had this problem.
I hope you can help me.

For what its worth I turned off foliage interaction, only had it on to remove the floating grass/ rocks but for some weird reason they would still render and slowly vanish within a certain radius, which is arguably more ugly, haven't had the fps drop YET been steady for a while now

hello, I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I am at my wits end with this crap.

I am running a completely vanilla Ark:SE Dedicated server (ragnarok) for myself and my kids.

I spent several hours taming stuff on Gen2 yesterday then transfered them all to ragnarok using cryopods and a TekTransmitter.

The crypods transfer with no issues, but I cannot deploy anything I transferred, and now going back to gen2 they don't work there either. Keeps saying "Cannot Deploy"

Again, this is 100 percent vanilla Ark SE, I am admin of both servers (ragnarok and Gen2)

How can I fix this?

My friend just cannot harvest any bushes or rocks on the ground in ascended on my non dedicated server. Cant figure out why, no answers online

Anyone know how to help on steam I was js playing then my game crashed like normal then I reboot and I join the server I was on and it was a black box covering like 80% of my screen then I couldn’t move or anything so I got my tribe mate to kill me and when that happened it crashed again and I booted up again and this time in the spawn suvivor screen it was black like before but on that screen and it wouldn’t let me spawn my character anywhere or even select a spawn so I tried to make a new character and it didn’t work either and when I pressed create new character the screen would just go fullly black but I could still see the server join message and the chat in game. Since I’ve reinstalled fully by deleting ark folder etc I’ve tried game launch options I’ve tried dx11 10 forcing etc I’ve tried reinstalling direct x and visual I’ve verified files reinstalled a few times currently reinstalling windows now but windows even curropted and it’s stuck I have to hard reset now from a different pc anybody know what might be the problem with my game plesss

everytime i launch ark i have to change some graphics settings in order to make surface supply drops appear on aberration, is there a fix for this? specifically global illumination and effects quality (it could just be one of them making a difference but im not too sure just saw something about them online) it doesnt seem to matter what quality level they're on just that they're changed after i launch the game

I know babies don’t eat from troughs but unless it’s not registering the food in the trough, and they’re in range of them, that’s quite odd. Might just need to give them some food as babies.

Okay - I figured out my problem (mostly?) ... My ghetto skiff had been pulled back to my dino leash from where I parked it... problem was, it was meshed behind a cliff. This isn't the first time that I've had something yanked into the leash's range from across the map.

Here's what I did to fix it: I reduced the leash's range to minimum. That's all. The zeppelin yanked out of mesh into the leash's circle of influence. So - if you have that same problem with your dinos, try that fix

There are 10 explorer boss notes for each designated map, but you also need the prologue and epilogue, from transferring to the map you get the prologue and defeating or doing the ascension boss fight for that map will give you the epilogue thus the 12 notes in total, must watch entire cutscene for the epilogue to render and be added to you’re account as sometimes it can bug. Some people I’ve talked to have gotten the 5 extra levels with gettting the epilogue but if you have the 11/12 and missing the epilogue and don’t have the extra 5 levels then do the easiest version of the ascension boss for it, watch full cutscene do not skip anything just in case.

Island does not have any bob notes, so it’s epilogue or prologue is not important, unless you are going for the +10 levels for all explorer notes, for island to get the extra levels you just need to defeat the overseer alpha whoever this boss can glitch and not give you your levels or the tek engrams if you are not in the right area when loading into the finishing cutscene. When the boss first spawns in notice where it spawns at the end of the room in the middle on a circular pad. When you defeat the boss run to that pad closest to where you think the boss spawned. If you’re in the general vicinity on the pad you will most likely unlock the tek binoculars and the 15 extra levels

Are you attempting to apply it in your inventory or after the turret is placed? It is applied by clicking on the skin and applying it to an already placed structure as if you are about to place something.

When you spawn in Do you have enough time to get to your implant and unalive yourself ?
If you do you could spawn somewhere else then approach the location only rendering some of the Rex’s.

If not you may have to wait until a patch with memory management comes.

Are Otters supposed to eat like Gigas?

I put 30+ stacks of cooked fish meat in a Maeguana (it's all I had) and it was eating it just fine so I AFK for maybe 10 minutes and come back and it starved to death and all the cooked fish meat was gone.

Only thing Im raising are tek parasaurs, ManaG's, 1 oviraptor, 1 ovis, and megatheriums. I had and still have tons of raw meat in there for all of them and some berries too just in case

put the fridge on a cart, the ones that are pulled by tames, and if its next to a trough it will auto transfer from the cart fridge to the trough as it empties
