Yo does anyone know how to remove a dino companion whistle from an inventory? I had a ccompanion veilwyn but when it died its timer bugged out and it never respawned. But I still have the whistle in my inventory and when I use it says the companion still on cooldown. I can't set other veilwyns as companions either so is there anyway I can remove the whistle entirely, or am I just stuck not able to get another companion?

I'm looking for some help with enabling skins on un-official.
I've paid for some structure skins, they're all visable in my cosmetics menu in single player but on my server they are missing.
I have custom stuff all enabled, other skins show up perfectly fine. I can't find them in the nitrado curseforge mod menu either to add them to my server incase that was the issue. I have unblocked all mods in my settings too. Killing my player also hasn't worked. So does anybody know how I 'manually enable' structure skins on unofficial servers?

I have that enabled, I've got other skins working fine. I bought one earlier and it's one of the ones missing and on curseforge the creator states 'needs to be manually enabled on unofficial pvp' but no directions on how to and their discord has no support or anywhere to chat

Looks like 3070ti is an 8GB card. Use MSI afterburner and watch your VRAM Alloc and Actual. You’ll see the card is maxing out even if you bump it to low. The card is having to constantly load and unload textures.

Hello folks. Returning after a few months off and on an unofficial server. Set my server up to what I thought were the old settings. Go into game, and I'm not sure what it is, but taming is way slower at just setting of 1 and Torp seems to be dropping dramatically. Has it been a known issue? Is there any guide to settings that at least match up to vanilla Dododex server settings?

Taming is pretty slow at 1x but I believe food drain can have an effect on torpidity if you've adjusted that? Also what are you trying to tame?

I started this endeavour by reopening my unofficial server last night. I applied all my settings I had once set up a few months back. I had noticed that the taming rate, maturation speed, egg hatching, laying, and raising. All of it was all wonky and not congruent with Dododex. After some inquiry, it was agreed that I should maybe try official rates, then change them again from there. Went ahead into my Nitrado server and set the server back to official rates. Upon doing that, I noticed no change. Taming was taking forever. Torp was going down too fast. In short, not matching Dododex, still.

Just after I typed my message out earlier, I found these rates..

Just so some people are aware and are having a range of issues with single player, for the last week I’ve been crashing within 10 mins of playing until I went to a backup (unfortunately a few hours back) but any save will do, which solved my issue because even updating the game or having a patch won’t fix your issues somtimes if you don’t in a sense reload your world without that issue. Hope that makes sense !

All that forced ray traced lighting, particle physics, and atomics want more than 8GB VRAM. I would like to see what the performance comparison on a 4060 16GB vs 4060 8GB (or 5060 equivalent).

The issue is that for FG to work properly, you need to be able to maintain a base framerate of atleast 60fps, which incidentally is also the framerate which most people find acceptable normally aspirated.

Did you get this figured out? Note that the Giga has a really high torpor rate, so any missed shots or time gaps between shots will cancel out some of your shots.

(Especially with higher levels. The higher the level = the faster the torpor drain = the more important it is not not miss shots)

I go to The center and it says it's not installed, so I go to the steam page and when I click "download" it just opens Ark Survival Ascendend. I thought Battlemetrics used the RCON port anyway. But, let’s say you used 7777, did you open 7778 as well?

The server is on a different port, I only have that one port open though

Someone else may chime in here, but in the ASE you would open the port and the next port adjacent. Also, Insure you have all maps selected player servers selected and passwords (if it’s passworded) selected.

I've found a wierd issue and the temporary fix on rag.

When running around I'll be hit suddenly with a spurt of lag that won't go away. It's a wierd frame loss and stutter step. But if I go into my inventory it fixes it for a while instantly every time.

And then search in the search bar for your server. I keep 5 up and running, and they show in the server list, but always show as down until I refresh it several times.

How long has the server been up?

Apparently Pterodactyl was made with the idea that you would be able to use NAT loopback if the panel and node are on the same system

No it's one of the QOL updates in the latest ASA patch.

Ankylosaurus and Doedicurus will no longer stop Auto-Harvesting as long as they are grabbed, and currently, even when slot-capped
