Along with many other issues such as but not limited to, redness so bad at dusk and dawn it hurts your eyes, prevented from crafting in your inventory, phantom sounds like placement sounds when I was just sitting doing nothing, invincible rain, shoulder pets going invincible, black screen, cosmetic skins not going into the hot bar and of course the game killer, INSANE LAG! The biggest issue for me is the omega fps drop when opening inventory. The game run at 90 / 110 fps most of the time, but almost 9/10 times when opening inventory it drops to 10fps, and FPS Come back whenever they wants.

Yea, unfortunately this seems to be the case for all maps. I got locked on extinction out of progressing because of Deep Sea Loot Crates & Alpha Megalodons.

If you have admin access, you can skip your current tier to get past it- but that's the only option as far as Im aware.

100%... nitrado servers are crammed into virtual machines to cut costs and generally don't perform well, plus you'll encounter many issues with them from my experience, their support isn't great unless it's changed in the past few years. If you run the server yourself you'll have better ping and can resolve issues yourself rather than waiting on lack luster support, plus it's free (besides electricity costs)

Yes! First, equip it on your hand by equipping the dragon item in your inventory. Then press R until you switched to the XP mode. Then look at the dino of your choice and press M2

There is an underwater cave next to herb island to the east and somewhat south. Plenty of pearls there. Helps to have an Archelon.

Otherwise, take a raft and sail it along the coast to the north. You will see plenty along the way.

Those hosting thir own servers, I'm attempting to add mods back to mine, and it just breaks everything. This is the list I'm using. (see below). Even with just Cyber's structures on ( it was last updated 6/19/25), the server refuses to boot. And if I do get it to boot, it erases inventories, makes it impossible to admin spawn items in, and blocks us from grabbing things and putting things in our inventories. Really the only mods I want are Cybers, Auto engrams, and utilities plus.... Super annoying.... if anyone knows a fix, work around, or even temp mod replacements while we wait on these to update.

no, for items that don't normally stack you'd have to edit the Game.ini

For example prime meat:

ConfigOverrideItemMaxQuantity=(ItemClassString="PrimalItemConsumable_RawPrimeMeat_C",Quantity=(MaxItemQuantity=500,bIgnoreMultiplier=True))

That would allow stacking to 500

I recommend checking out the ark server configuration wiki, it has all the info there 🙂

got an issue where when I place lamps on my raft, they work fine for a while, but then for some reason stop actually lighting up the surroundings. the glow of the bulb is still there, but the room is dark dark. if you pick up the lamp, and place it back down & turn it on, it starts working again for a while.

I copied the "Saved" All files and folders and placed them into the ark safe files and also made sure that SavedArks version of scorched earth safe files is also on SavedArksLocal side so it detects it as single player safe also

I found Localplayer.arkprofile and Playerlocaldata.arkprofile on Local profiles also, what you said the way i understand it i need to place these 2 inside Scorched earth safe file on Local that i just created?

I compared the 2 Files, one from the saved location and the other inside game folder and both Local profile files have different size, must be that they didn't get replaced when i sellected replace all

best guess is that for singleplayer your character is stored on the map, in which case i'm not sure how to help other than to suggest self hosting a server

So now it kind of takes time to make it stable and fix things that aren't working properly, they changed the way VRAM works but nvidia doesn't give a F they still release 8GB cards, us playing ASA with those got hit by this problem

My nitrado ragnarok server got reset to day 1 after i generated a cluster id for it to connect to a new club ark server.

If tiu create a new character on rag it’s a separate tribe then your character on island. If you over write rag characters you will loose everything.

Exactly. This will work. Make SURE that you make your tribe mate admin of the tribe. So he can admit your island character. You are better off transferring your rag character to a third server rather then overwriting your rag character. Keep in mind who is tribe owner. You do not want to overwrite that character.

I use 2-3 characters on different servers in different datacenters so I can still play when one goes down. It’s also faster to get from one server to another to the other if you are not transferring gear and less risky to loose a character through the transfer process. IMO

I have not been able to log into ragnarok, drivers up to date; removed all cosmetics; official and unofficial; existing character and new character..... Its not an issue with your device or the mods... This is happening with players on my server (4 x Series X, 1x Series S, 2 x GP Cloud play, 2 x Steam and 2 x PS5).

We moved to Rag, as most people probably have, from the Center, things were fine there but after this last update for Rag, they cannot harvest anything, craft anything, none of that. Stranger still, when my friend streamed his game and looked at my character, I had no clothes on (I was, in fact, wearing armor). I have not had any issues on my end, it just seems to be my friends. I've looked at several different Ark related discords, reddit posts, trying to find any possible solutions, searching for people talking about this issue and it seems most people go unanswered.
The items are in their inventory, we tested that through knocking them out and looking for myself (since I am not having the issue). But it just seems like everything inventory related is absolutely invisible to them.
(and yes, we tried the transfer beds trick)

Grass, shadows, clouds, and fog are the main ones that affect fps. You could try water effects or floating names, but it’ll more likely than not be insignificant to your performance.

Hey folks
No promises this will work for anyone but I’m running an RTX 4070Ti on all Epic Settings with a few foliage values turned down a little and haven’t gotten any FPS drops when rolling back to Driver 572.47. I’ve been on Aberration Ascended now for about an hour ish and have maintained a solid 50FPS this way when I used to crash to about 5 FPS everytime I opened the player inventory prior to rolling back drivers. Hope this helps

start with checking if you have filters on, in the inventory, at the bottom

Get a male and females with the stats u want. If the male has like 40 hp. And the female has like 41 melee damage. Combine them to have good stats. After you combine the stats u want. keep breeding till u have as much clean females as u want. which means no mutation on females. Now u breed till u get a mutation. If it lands on melee. Grow the melee mutation baby up and swap out the original clean male. And replace it with the new grown up mutation melee. This is how u stack mutations. You keep swapping the male when you get a new stack

Your welcome also don't combine different mutations. Like if u get a food mutation. That also has a melee mutation. Don't do that. Do different lines for that. Then in the end combine them

Ok so what you should do is load up an sp world that you don’t have actual progress on with half the mods disabled. If your issues with not seeing what’s in your inventory persist just do the same thing over again to see if that helps. It’s a quick way to find out what is causing your issues without loading every mod one at a time

Template hammer still broken. I had a template placed. Got 98% of the build completed. 4 little windows are unable to be placed "obstructed" but they aren't. However I have no option to complete the template or to edit the template and as such the blue shadow of where they are meant to be cannot be removed.
After tearing the whole thing down, the blue shadows are now just hovering in mid air without any way to get rid of them and it looks awful

The only time I get to see the complete build option is if I place a fresh new template and then the hammer will switch to the correct options. Which of course didn't affect the template that was already placed

Same here! I'm on single player and they just do 1 bite and nothing else, no matter what mode they're set to. Glad to see I'm not the only one having the issue. Unfortunately I haven't found a fix for them either. I've tried putting it in cryo, uploading them to an Ob, restarting my game and nothing 😞

not sure what your trying to do but when you install a mod it goes inside that folder in a subfolder called "mods" then inside that theres a folder with a number, not sure what it represents, inside that is all your installed mods under what I assume is their curseforge modid so for example

steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ShooterGame\Mods\83374\929868_6683382\AdminPanel

then the other folder instead of "mods" is ModsUserData which seems to just be used to keep track of other info like your auth token for curseforge but also contains some logs if your troubleshooting something

I did a 5 sec google and dont think you need ports forwarded but tl; dr they're things you need to use if you want to make your computer host something (like a game server) accessible via the internet (sometimes)

assuming you're doing everything right it could be an issue with your friends network setup, might be worth trying to google NAT type and see if that comes up with any results of it causing issues hosting non dedicated sessions.

in the game itself? that sounds like something is broken on your game install side might be worth a re verify because I don't think you can install a mod manually, even if you can definately isn't something I've heard of people doing so isn't supported

Sorry if this is dumb but you did wait for the skills/attack to recharge right? They can't be spammed there's a recharge bar above your action bar slots that let's you know when you can use them again.
