im 90% sure that that is caused by FSR thus switching to TSR (unreal in the settings) should fix this

could be different peer-to-peer behavior for xbox vs steam. peer-to-peer is basically a hacky exploit of how UDP networking functions, despite how widely used it is, it is really unreliable

firewall is usually irrelevant, but possibly. mod load order is irrelevant to anything in ark 99% of the time. you cant even specify load order when joining a server, it automatically switches your mods and wont let you join without all the required ones.

ark mods add, not replace existing files. the only time load order matters is a few times of mod where you can only use one and it needs to be first loaded, which is rarely done

mod conflicts basically dont exist outside a handful of really speciifc things, so priority is not a thing

if two mods try to alter the same thing programmatically, what happens is often a coin toss

there can be logical conflicts where two mods just try to do things that will never co-exist well, but you wont usually see direct code/data conflicts

As far as I can tell, Stamina Frail means there is a low likelihood of inheriting the stamina, but it's not guaranteed. I've bred creatures with frail stats and still ended up with the stronger stat. It may take a few attempts but you can stillerge all the best stats into an offspring if you have the patience.

The glitchy endless loops happen too though where you can't fight and just wait to die or you end the fight and just wait to die because it never registers complete. This is pretty vital to the game. If beating a map, especially the first map in the series, is broken? This should be high priority. This is the second time I bought the game and I bought all the dlc in ASE. I bought this version under the impression there would be less bugs. I'm paying twice for more bugs and the same bugs despite the claims it was rebuilt from the ground up so there's also that. couple things

1. make sure give default survivor items are turned on
2. try to eat implant to respawn (most time get cosmetics back)
3. try opening transmitter
4. try crafting a new event skin
5. load into a new server making a new character. check go see if have cosmetics, after load back into main character eat implant and should have them again, if none of these work #bug-reports

Ty for the reply, I tried to respawn, didn’t work, I know usually by opening trans they come back but this time nope.
I crafted Easter skin and it shows in cosmetics but only the skin I recently crafted not my old ones (Halloween).

I find that I have to completely stop / exit the game and restart it so that I can join when I get this messsage. Ther is also a server timer of approximately 3 minutes, a keep alive that you won’t be able to rejoin until it expires.

You gotta use the call babies ability and then claim the baby while riding the gigaraptor. The more levels it's learned the more bonus levels you get. A 100% imprinted fully leveled up will give you to to 75 levels i believe.

Treasure maps for early or mid level bobs hold alot of good loot like max weapons and other goodies if ur starting out ill advise u get those treasure

I play ARK: Survival Ascended (yes I know, probably less optimized game out there) and have a shitton of micro freezes from like 50-200ms every 8-12 seconds.

The game works fine for ALL ppl I know and I tried with worse AND better hardware.

Playing on GeForce Now = Totally fine

In the past I played this game also very fine with a 2070 super, 3080 Ti, 3090 and 4090 (Yes I sold that flagship).

Then I had a 4070 (non Ti) that worked super fine. But I wanted to get some more FPS and bought a 5070 Ti. With the 5070 Ti the micro freezes started (didn't change anything else, there was also no game update).
After some research I saw that you shoudn't touch 5000 series GPUs right now. So I swapped back to my 4070. But it still keeps freezing as mentioned. Even if it worked super fine before in this configuration (NOTHING else changed). Then I also bought a 4080 Super (used) - still stuttering. Then I took the 3080 from my brother - Still stuttering. I also tried to run the game on his pc (14700, 3080, same ram is I have, Same PSU, same Motherboard) worked fine and super smooth...

All other games (GTA V, Warzone, Fortine, Tomb Raider, newest Indiana Jones) working super fine and smooth on my pc. Outside the games in Premiere Pro, Windows, Office, Youtube etc. - Super smooth.

Any ideas?

Does anyone know the airheads at Wildcard and can relay the message to please fix the SAVE ISSUES on console (both PS5 and X-Box). Forget mods crashing the game, light fixtures not working, tames sinking into the map, etc. The issues I've been having with this game are numerous. The game not saving in single player on console is just . . . . It's pretty bad. After a while it just stops saving progress in builds, tames, etc. How are we supposed to play a game that stops saving progression?

I tried restarting the game, destroywilddinos then saving, reinstalling the game, changing something in settings and saving through the settings menu, doing save world, combinations of all those, etc. They occasionally work, but 29 times out of 30, they don't. Yes, that's how many times I've found myself logging in and out / trying those methods to get something to save. Something like placing a wall. How can you put out a game that doesn't save progress?

Apparently this stuff's been going on a while. I googled it and a lot of people on console have had serious save issues in single player.

let's not, because that is the main cause of save failures. consoles have very limited memory capacity and typically no SWAP (emergency overflow), and saving the game temporarily uses a big chunk of memory. mods eat into the available memory capacity heavily. use too many mods and/or build big spammy bases, and the memory runs out and the game crashes

cant fix that, it is a physical limitation. mods have always been a matter of using them at your own risk and choosing combinations that make sense on your hardware

I'm on PS5 Pro. The game performs smoothly, graphics-wise. The only thing is the bugs and REALLY horrendous save issues in single player. I don't use mods or anything that doesn't come with the official game and the DLC content released by WildCard. Even the cosmetics are used sparingly. I'll just stop buying stuff until it's fixed. Plenty of other games out there.

Yeah I would do that. There is so many great games out there at the moment or even revisiting old ones are good too. I don't know what the majority of the community is like now. But alot of people on the discord are not having major game breaking issues so they wouldn't understand and that is fine.

It grinds useless tames into a random chance of kibble.
It's not a 100% thing.
It's based off stats.
If u grind tek parasaurs, you'll get the same mats as if u killed a tek Para.

I'm on PS5 Pro, and my game won't save anymore in single player. Something I keep running into after playing for a little while so brace yourself for that issue as well. Like, the game stops saving your progress after a while (your structures, level, attribute distribution, tames, etc) No mods being used. I couldn't imagine the horrors of playing on the multiplayer servers. It saves your position on the map, but nothing else. I tried using mods once, but half of them cause the game to crash on PS5 so I stopped using them after a week. @covert rapids

I have a question:

I updated the game and try to join multiplayer. Each time I start ASA and click on the button JOIN GAME the message "Not Logged in".

I tried windows update, Steam update, ASA update, new login, restart pc, restart router, start steam as admin.
Nothin seems to work.

I’ve had the same issue with my holiday cosmetics tab not showing up and I had all the cosmetics from every event plus all from this Easter and I lost the Easter skins again also . I’ve been reporting it for about a month with no luck I keep getting a message from wildcard that says the issue has been resolved . Tested again by respawning, easter skins disappeared. Crafted another event skin in smithy and all previously unlocked easter skins showed up.

Missing info… details matter, does the server you are trying to place structures on, have those mods installed?

Skins are different, and are client based, means you can see them but only players with those skin mods installed can see them

He has verified his game files made sure his driver is up to date and has alll settings to low (even tho he shouldn’t have to) the problem is he plays and it would randomly crash like quite often well now he can’t even get passed the spawn points screen. What settings do I need to have on my Doedicarus for it to gather stone while being carried by and argy? It gathers if I drop it next to the stone but not while being carried

it will only auto harvest when the weight isn't too high, and when you carry it, it's sometimes weird with the targeting. try and approach the stone from a different angle. i find doedi is often difficult to aim

Arg…so I crashed. Now when I have rejoined the server the first person camera shows from inside my character. Shutting the game and reloggin in doesn’t change this view. 3rd person and orbital camera are fine. Just first person.

The bit I'm annoyed about is that by the tribe log I have lost nothing but all the dinos I was teleporting in have literally vanished along with all my gear, med brews, shotguns, shells the lot. Its like it didn't happen. I logged back in and it was like I had transferred in and got me to select a bed so now have to do the shitty caves all over again spend ages looking for a barb and fang and on top raise a load of megas all over again and yeah @raw pebble we've paid to do this to ourselves 🥴😅

Try using your implant to respawn and see if it leave you a bag. Usually fixes the issue for me. Dying by drowning or Dino doesn’t but if I use the implant to respawn it’ll usually put my stuff in a bag and when I pick it up I can see everything.
