Are there any known issues with X Box Series S not being able to run asa? I think the xcloud version runs on xbox s class hardware as my ark crashes constantly since last update. If i crashing in the blue zone on abb there are times i have to logon with xbox x to move because xloud crashes once map has loaded

I have a test server at home - here I have the same config and the Nitrado savegame running. Unfortunately, I can only set up the following test scenario from Sunday to Monday:
Hatch baby, feed to 10%. Saveworld. Shut down the server. Copy savegame to test server. Restart both servers. Log in briefly on both servers. With Nitrado, briefly pull SmartBreeding values. Offline until the next day. And then check whether both display the same (=> WC problem) or both have different values (=> Nitrado problem).

But what use is this knowledge if no one is interested in the problem with either Nitrado or WC? Is this perhaps even an individual problem? Savegame broken? Can it be repaired?

Not sure if anyone else has had any issues recently with character transfer on unofficial PVE clusters, but about 50% of the time in the last few weeks, every time I transferred to a different server within the cluster and try to download to my bed, I get kicked to the 'create a character' screen. Here's a head scratcher: On all of my servers in my cluster, suddenly structures are disappearing.

Facts about this situation:

No mods were removed
Auto-decay is disabled
Server is PvE
Structure damage is disabled```

One player actually witnessed all of the structures they had placed disappear in front of them about 15 minutes after placing them.

I used to play on the free version then decided to start playing on the DLC version. I can start the game up and everything just fine but it seems either after a certain amount of time or if I open my inventory a certain amount of times, it crashes. I haven't figured out which it is.

I never had issues with the mods I have either. But I also haven't tested yet if that's different now.

hello, im having a problem launching my ark. It launches, but closes briefly before even getting to the main menu. I've tried
-verifying file integrity
-updating drivers
-turning off firewall or any antivirus
-adding ark to my antivirus exclusion
-running as administrator
-re-installing ark entirely
-re-installing microsoft c++ and direct x
-scanning and repairing my disk health

I am indeed on an S. No mods, not even club ark, only one other game of the internal storage. I can load the map just fine on another account, it's always when personal inventory gets full. The animals can be slot capped and it doesn't care

You can transfer your character and items from your server to your solo on your pc, and yes you can change maps on your server, your stuff and progress stays on that map. Keep in mind that if you change maps you need to reinvite your friends to a tribe with each map change

It gets off the moment you go into a menu or open the console but should stay ON while walking around

Since the latest updates a few members in my community that run on Xbox have been unable to join. It seemed to start right after one of the recent updates. Its odd though as one member has two xbox's and one can join and one cant. Multiple people have now done full reinstalls (of game and mods) we've rebooted the servers etc. Not sure what else could be wrong! Just curious if others are experiencing anything similar? -Added note they seem to be able to only join servers with no mods, but with our cluster or anything with mods they seem to have the issue. If you want to keep the white colour you need to breed the dinos until you have the breeders that have the colour AND stats. Remember every mutation will also have a colour mutation

Guys I’m on Xbox and I cannot join my unofficial server with my friends… is there an issue currently? It seems like my friends had issues but got into the server eventually but I’ve been trying on and off for the past 4 hours with no luck.

I can join on another server in the cluster but when I try and join the Astraeos map it goes to load in and then the game crashes.

Ok I fixed the problem for myself. I had uninstalled dlc and even the game and nothing was working. My tribe mate then suggested that with abb she had to do a single player game first then load into a server. So I tried this and it worked @worn girder @dawn hearth

Man I had Astraeos running smoothly again yesterday by uninstalling the DLC and reinstalling. No more random crashes in the middle of gameplay.

Now the game updates today and I'm back to crashing randomly. 😭

That's my issue too. Open inventory a few times and bam I crash.

The only issues I've had with ASA is when Aberration first launched it was a buggy mess (pretty much for everyone). So I never got into that map. Otherwise, I've had a decent experience.

But this crashing bug is driving me up a wall.

Anyone know of a fix for broken linked storage?

Merged with a tribe that put us at 7/4 linked storage boxes, and the network would randomly break to the point where we couldn't add or remove items, or even see the inventory. We demolished boxes until we were back under the cap, but they still keep breaking and the only way we've seen to get them working again is to exit the game for 5 minutes. Sometimes even that doesn't work.

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and if anyone knows how to fix it

Is this why the game refuse to start? I loaded all the server mods while i was off screen for like 45 minutes. Came back to a black screen. I just had someone recommend me a solution for unofficials. Imma try it, it does require server admins though. Basically the person said upon a transfer, the implant failed to transfer and implants are linked to EOS (I think is what she said). Resetting the cluster IDs will clear any "uploads". We're gonna test this on my cluster real quick

It's a map drop, but have to warn players to clear uploads. All uploaded characters/items will be deleted. Realistically, as an owner, this will take me all of 10 minutes to do once my players clear uploads. The alternative is wait out the upload timers from the last time you successfully transferred.

sort of not really. and that error is framegen crashing for some reason, an issue a number of people have been having, may be related to certain driver or dlss library versions

it is not an issue due to using DX12, DX12 is just what the game uses. forcing DX11 in possible in UE5, but will result in the game being hilariously broken

TL:DR : you have to look for the [Startup] header
and there you should find the line
FrameGenerationSystem=-1
-1 = DL-FG (NVIDIA FG)
0=FSR FG/FFI (AMD FG)
removing this line will turn it off as far as i can tell

Astraeos freeze when load/Black screen temp fix

1. Make and join a single player Astraeos game

2. Turn off the clouds and fog
   (R.volumetriccloud 0 , r.volumetricfog 0 )

3. Exit game and go to join your Astraeos map normally
   ( I had to do it twice )

Might take a time or 2 but it does help bypass the freeze/black screen

Open game in single player, I had to do it twice. Astraeos map opened in single player one time and seemed to fix Official map loading. Been fine since then. Xbox X. No need to jiggle fog or clouds.
