My single player saves won't actually save. I can start a new game on a map, but it won't actually save. I can press the save button before exiting, but after I exit it doesn't save. I can try and reload, but it instead just sends me to the create character screen, as if I just started a completely new save file.

don't think you can for save data. no idea what the actual limit is but I had reached it before and cloud sync stopped working. if other games are still syncing then its probably not that.

Well, before I closed the game I took of all my mods and now my island save file is back, but not my extinction save. For saving I've been manually saving and then exiting to the main menu.

I think I may have fixed the issue, I just saved, went back to the main menu and reloaded and everything was as it was before I exited.

Alright so... im stumped lol

Got my extinction server up and running, got all the mods installed properly and whatnot, and I can see all the modded stuff in survival mode and with my cheats enabled (in the engrams tab), but as soon as I go into GCM everything modded just poofs from the crafting section of my inventory and all engrams, and I loose access to anything that was previously in my inventory. Anything new i put in my inventory in gcm either with crafting it with the tab or giving it to myself via commands is just invisible completely on my end. It's only on the extinction server, singleplayer and all my other servers are functioning correctly... I'm lost lol

Yeah other people are having the same issue. Only thing I've seen people say might work is leaving and coming back to try and render it again. If you stand next to one long enough it may show up. That's how it was for me with Z plants, but it didn't work for everyone else.

Looking to buy a new rig for my ASA. I’m currently weighing my options for GPU between a 7900xtx and a 4070 Ti Super. I’m hesitant to get the 7900xtx (despite being better in raw performance stats) as i’ll be missing out on DLSS/Ray Tracing. However, ASA isn’t the only game I play, so 24gb VRAM would be nice to have. I guess my question is: does that really matter in a game like ASA, and without DLSS, will the 7900xtx be on par with running this game decently? I’m not looking to run it at 4k epic settings, but 1440p + Medium-High should suffice

Warning if you are using Armadoggo be prepared for it to just thanos snap out of existence, gear & all. No tribe log, not injured no debuff & in base. How much more does the XTX cost? Now the XTX will absolutely SMOKE the super TIE in pretty much every single game but it might struggle with ARK (at EPIC 1440p native the 7900XT got 30fps).i think DLSS/DLAA is a nice to have but FSR/TSR/XeSS are usable it is also possible that AMD allows FSR 4 to be used on the 7000 series(which I'm expecting to be on par with DLSS)

The city terminals are like the charge nodes in Aberration, allowing you to transfer between servers and craft items.

However at the 3 desert titan spawns there is a terminal as well but it really only to spawn in boss battles tbh.

Issue: mods won't stay updated and game crashes on server join.
I manually updated the mods and when I go to join the server it'll still say more mods need updating. It hits 100% instantly but will show the progress keep climbing ABOVE 100% indefinitely. On the rare chance it loads the server it'll crash the game immediately. Then I check the mods list again and EVERY mod I just updated says it's out of date again.

@brazen robin Just figured I'd pop in to say that my issue with the game not launching was resolved. When it loaded up after I deleted my cloud save, it allowed me to use my 'physical' save which, funnily enough, had all the data still present. So, I'm good now and it uploaded the save to the cloud as a copy

I am able to play on dedicated server but I have to restart my game after my first log in of the session. I experience I can't interact with my items and most of what I built is gone. I have bEnablecheats=true in the GUS.ini and when i try go try to go in game on my ps5 with console access to activate admin mode as I been doing for a while now. type in enablecheats adminpw but nothing happens. You can try a few commands to help, such as turning off fog, clouds, water effects. A few YouTube videos have recommended stuff to help with frames, but I believe your VRAM and total RAM also affect it, since ASA is very demanding.

Dreadmare/Stallion question. So I've been finding lots of dreads, finally snagged an altar and went to get all the tributes.....I was able to get everything BUT Alpha Wyvern and alpaha worm horns....like they do NOT spawn on my server. Going to the scar I maybe see 3 wyverns period. So when I get through the altar, I constantly get stuck on the alpha wyvern and worm tribute....is there any way around that? I cant really hop servers to find tributes....I've been wanting one for a while now but was wanting the experience of taming one.

But I'm trying to find some faster settings to fully imprint and have tye tame grow up fast

its impossible. every dino imprints and grows at such different rates that no settings can have every dino be imprintable, but also grow up fast

doubt you can easily find a source for imprinting rates on specific dinos. if you have access to mods, they'd be a much better method for imprints

yeah like if it asks for just 1 of them 1 time u are ok it will spawn in the alpha wyvern for you to kill then tame the dread but if u fail 3 times due to lack of tribute the altar breaks and u get nothing its why i had the giga problem last night sure

I walked the whole map with my carchar and not even a normal worm spawned. As for wyverns I maybe see 3 spawn at a time if that. I flew the whole scar, stealing all the eggs and nothing chased me lol. People on my server say alpha wyvern does spawn...but ive spent days at the scar and ive been on my server for a while and never see one ever lol. As for Megalania, I'm gonna have to raise some cave running dinos so I can go farm some.
