@carmine lance please figure out this issue, I know others are having a similar issue, I can’t play the game at all because I can’t install the fear ascended or club ark mods, I’ve gone as far as to uninstall steam and all my games and delete all my steam files and reinstall them to the same driver hoping that it was a file order issue but it’s still not allowing me to install the mods, it will begin installing then stop itself (yes I have enough space I have over a terabyte) sometimes I receive and error code. I am out of things to try and I just want to play the game

I fugured out the issue... they made it that you get every server transfere 50 skins in your inventory, even if you have them already 🫣

I have a ProArt series, and without OCing or installing anything but drivers, the card in Ark is running at 2835 MHz. The stock clock should be more around 2460.

that unfortunately is nowhere near the minimum spec for the game, if "hhd" means a hard drive. the CPU is like 1/6th the performance needed as well. GPU is the absolute minimum

So i have had a problem with flashing lights/strobe light in my base on aberration... today my gen ran out of element and found the flashing had stopped... powered the tek gen again and it started flashing again. Figured it was the lights. Picked up the lights in range of the area...(steam punk lights) and flashing stopped. Haven't tested other light sources but if you are having problems with flashing lights in your base try removing lights in range.

yup! the highest drag weight you can carry is listed on the blackhole icon. as you level weight you will see this go up. once its at 1000, it shows as 1000+. not sure if that means you can carry anything without having to keep levelling more weight, or if thats just the tool tip giving up on caring to update lol

Hey, I've noticed an issue ever since the cosmetic update the other day. I have default survivor items disabled (have re-enabled it and disabled again multiple times since then in an attempt to fix). However, my game is acting as though I have ~250 items on my character at all times as I can hold about 50 slots of items maximum (often times as low as 10 slots of items) even tho my character is not overweight. There does not appear to be anything in my inventory or cosmetics tab. Transferring or killing my character does not seem to fix the issue, either. Any ideas on how to fix?

So awhile ago I made a mantis that had 3 mineral carrier genes for a total of 50% weight reduction. I tried it and indeed was getting a weight of 750 on a 1500 stack of metal. Today I used the mantis and now I am getting a weight of 375 on a 1500 stack of metal which is 75% reduction I believe. Anyone know if there were changes to the mantis or mineral carrier genes? The gene tooltips still say they add up to 50%

It is there you just have to go through the list. The Ark search is kinda meh - it sees "dino" and gives you anything that has "dino" in it, rather than restricting it to "dino depot"

I think when you set up the map, in the in-game settings you just have to toggle "Maximum difficulty" on, however there is a mod I recommend called "Custom Dino Levels", which allows you to alter the level bias. Like for Island you can have it reach 150, but chances are favoured for low levels, while Center the chances are favoured for high levels. Custom Dino Levels allows you to adjust this bias

Basically it's the likelihood of a dino being a high or low level

Center has a high bias and you are more likely to find levels 130,140,150 etc, but on Island the chances of finding 130,140,150 is lower

Custom Dino levels allows you to make all maps have a low bias, high bias, or be balanced

This will remove all wild dinos and allow them to repopulate. If that doesn't help then I'm unsure what else is needed

I've tried everything to install Club Ark.
it doesn't work it just gets canceled or gives a fatal error.
I've already reinstalled the game too, how can I play an event that requires Club Ark when I can't even install it, can anyone help me?

I think having the new cosmetics in your inventory causes it. Whenever I've had them on me I've had the issue, whenever I've dropped them I don't recall experiencing it

So what we would do is upload stuff into the cloud then swap the map and download it back down

Just don’t upload Dino’s in cryopods it can glitch them down to lv 1 doing it that way

pick up t he incubator, it drops the embryos in a baggy, try placing the incubator in a wide open spot, thats what fixed for me (sorry if someone already answerd)

you don't need it per-say. you can just "select" the item and it auto goes onto your cookie cutter for structures.

i'm assuming it's the same with the dino stuff and gear you still just drag&drop
