Hi I recently downloaded ark survival evolved for the first time in awhile, I played it for about 2 days but today I loaded up and got an error every time I loaded up my save on the island, in the loading screen it gave me an error that has something todo with lost islands but I have never downloaded the DLC, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, repairing the game library, downloading and uninstalling the DLC but no fix anyone know how to fix this.

based on what I saw, not super useful. they average the blueprints you put in then give it a bonus that may make it worse.

unless you have 3 blueprints all basically the same, and don't mind losing them. I wouldn't use it.

Single player feedback, Xbox One Series X.

The Island still doesn't save ANY progress, the error has been going on for more than five !! weeks now. Scorched Earth crashes when loading the save game, also for five weeks.
Both maps are UNPLAYABLE! There's also a bug on The Island where ovens automatically burn without having the resources in their inventory or nearby. How is that even possible?
I've also already uninstalled & reinstalled everything from ASA, my console has enough storage space so it can't be a mistake by myself or the Xbox.
When will this problem finally be fixed?
I'm not interested in your ARK Club News as long as my main save games don't work! You regularly bring new items & events into the game, but it basically doesn't work at all. I'm finally losing patience with this cr**! Crybaby-Greetings AGAIN from Berlin.

For some reason, I can't get spinos to spawn on single player. Resources are not respawning either. I've raised the spawn rate and still nothing. I understand single player isn't as much a priority as paid servers but come on. What's going on?

and spinos use the same spawn container as the fish, so might have to kill some fish to get a spino to spawn

Whenever you update/instal a mod on console, quit the ark app and relaunch the game. Not all mods load correctly until you relaunch the game

It could be a faulty mod installation. Normally when this happens though, I restore the last backup from before I was crashing, which is what nitrado would tell you to do. It results in a roll back but sometimes it’s not a severe one.

Heard Fenrirsulfr is pretty hard but I didnt know its 80k hp type hard

Stat calculator says 80k hp will take 62 levels and if I level all rexes 88 times (which I highly doubt) theyll only have 800% melee
Also heard the dragon is the main hardest thing but thats cause of percentage based damage so not sure

Yup i have a few friends on pc and xbox gamepass having the issue as well. Your not alone. Even worse on a 2x weekend when servers are busier. They will start to get in but because of the load connection screen taking so long someone else gets it. Make a ticket as others have. Maybe they will fix it someday

strange thing i am noticing on my server, my abbyMegalosaurus are not feeding themselve when food is in inventory as babies. then as juvenal they don't draw from the food trough unless u put at least 1 meat in there inventory - even if they have some meat in it already. it seem to take at leaswt 1 meat to trigger them feeding themselves as baby/juvi

Inventory refresh helps with babies a lot, a while back they changed the way dinos eat, increasing the gap between "checks" for food and nearby troughs overall, but the checks speed up the lower the food. Babies are sorta the same, but any inventory refresh makes em eat if possible

Hey I have a question, Google and reddit didn't have a solution.

Tribe mates on a Series S, when he opens up any inventory menu (dino, ob, transmitter, ect.) His screen flashes and says "refreshing ark inventory".

typically thats due to network/connection but I guess it could just be client related lag too.
if you play modded could try removing some, and use the graphics commands as well. not much troubleshooting is possible on consoles.

Well, when it swings, it loses height, it descends on its own. Sometimes, even when it shows a grapple point, it doesn’t grab it, among other things. I've seen YouTube videos on PC with people who are like Spider-Man, but on console, no matter how much I practice, something always goes wrong.

The controls on console are super complicated, it's literally hard to press the wrong button, and the grappling part, I assure you, has nothing to do with pressing the wrong button,

I don't know if this is the right place, but I would like to complain the in game translation for ASA on Portuguese (Brazil) language, the translation is poorly executed, certain dinos names doesn't make any sense, how Argentavis becomes "Prata" (Silver) or Manta Ray becomes Percepção (Perception)? The translation used on ASE was very good and I could't find any errors on it, but this translation for ASA is terrible man.

Hey guys, i accidentaly deleted my the island save file and now recovered it with some tool called Disk Drill, but when i try to launch the game with said safe file as soon as it starts loading it closes the game completely, its obvious something is wrong, the file is either corrupt or was not recovered properly, has any of you ever had this issue before and found a solution for it?

That temperature is ideal brother don't worry about that, if your gpu is running at 100% at that temp no matter what it won't go above that, there are not going to be any problems regarding that. Power is transfered into heat and its normal, that's why they're designed to run up to 90 degrees no problem, just not advised to work at that temp for too long because it consumes silicon faster but should still work a long time

Anyone know a fix for Bob’s tall tales DLC? After the steampunk update I haven’t been able to do anything Bob’s tall tales related. (I play on Xbox)

When I could select Bob’s Tall tales, the game acted like I didn’t own it.. the game would redirect me to the Xbox store, and the Xbox store just said “it appears you already own this.” (I don’t game share with anyone, and it is my account that owns the game and DLC.)

Yesterday, I couldn’t launch Bob’s tall tales, so I updated it in the mod menu. (Still didn’t launch after the update)
Today, I cant access Bob’s tall tales anywhere. It doesn’t even show up in any interface. (Nowhere.. Not on the main menu and not in game in the pause menu.) I play official too.. it’s like the DLC doesn’t exist.

Apparently there can only be one crate at a time in the cave (1 of the 9 spots); they're on timers (like regular supply crates); and have a 25-40min cooldown between crate spawns.

Me and my brother, i have 3060TI, 32GB ram 3600mhz and RX 5600X clocked at 4500MHZ and he has same ram and cpu but 4060TI gpu. My gpu runs at 80% max and cpu at 30%, only 7.5gb ram taken and his gpu is working at 50-60%, cpu also at 30% and latency is like going from 17-40ms, both gpu's have 8GB vram and ark is using 7.2gb for both of us, at times goess to 7.4 and that's it

Ive taken down the alpha brood and megapithecus on Fjordur and have my eyes set on the dragon. I'm a solo player but I don't have singleplayer settings on apart from for breeding, so stat wise it's quite tough
I have 19 rexes with 58-0 58-0 in hp and melee, meaning if I level them 47 times I can get 23k hp and 1000% melee. I also have a 260% pump action shotgun. Saddles range from 100-135 armour and my yuty has 25k hp, 104 armour. I'm ok with a complete team wipe since I can always breed more but really wanna solo this boss. you have to do manual backups. you can't revert saves. the anti-corruption may be a different save tho. have heard thats happened to some.

it hasn't changed. its about 7%, its around 1% for any given stat if thats what you mean (some dinos were higher since they couldn't get oxygen)
ASA's is a bit higher per stat since movement speed can't get mutations but the overall chance should be the same.

I doubt there’s a fix for it tbh. The series S isn’t powerful enough to effectively run ASA. Same reason beacon beams are invisible for series S players. Only way around it at this time is to use a series X or other platform

Idk about series s, but I play on series x and I find if I crash I have real problems with logging back in to the server, I find it's easier to restart the console then I can log straight in. Has anyone had problems with the Linked Storage Boxes on PC/Steam and been able to solve them? There are already a few bug reports about it. I've now read about a server where they have no problems at all with it. So could it possibly be a server configuration issue? But according to the bug reports, it only affects PC/Steam. I've already removed all mods - the problem still exists. You can't put anything in the boxes even after restarting the server (Root and Nitrado) countless times 😦 Unfortunately, there has been no reaction from WC to this bug 😦

All I can say to this is you know ark is buggy if ever played it. Let alone new ark they are still working on releasing. They don't necessarily respond to bug reports and support itself has been closed for a few months now. You're better off making a new character and redoing notes/bosses. Imprints transfer with your account now on ASA.

Well, Nitrado support is terrible. Extremely nonsensical recommendations, some of which are still based on ASE. Troubleshooting steps that you can't do because the files don't even exist in ASA. But you should do that, then you'll find the solution... The Snail-Nitrado deal is a disgrace 😦 They don't even have real supporters. Hobby supporters who read troubleshooting guides... then you ask "Have you ever set up an ARK server?" "I don't play ARK - but that's what the guide says!"

On the other hand, 2 have been found here 😉 WC, Nitrado - a top combination 😉
