I have a weird visual glitch happening in ASA

It happened ever since I got a fresh clean on my PC and a new drive to replace it's old boot, what happens is, is that the screen (majority the sky) likes to glitch for a slight frame and do this repeatedly over and over again, it mostly happens around a lot of assets and structures!

It's not a connection issue or a memory issue as i've seen my memory running fine even with 16GB RAM, and my Wi-Fi is perfectly fine along with this issue persisting on Singleplayer, anyone know a fix?

I keep seeing that the game is CPU bound, but I don’t observe that? I get maybe 30% utilization on a 5600X3D. My experience tells me poor performance has something to do with nanite rendering, niagra physics in the water, and volumetric clouds/lighting. I’m pretty sure UE5 game Nightingale gets all these aspects correct on a similar looking game (similar world, similar foliage, similar clouds). Does UE 5.4 have optimization for those features? And why can Nightingale do it (I assume it’s a smaller studio) on an older version of UE?

Dino depot has an ingame config menu. Place a terminal and open the radial menu to get to it. If it's not popping up, log in as an admin (open the command console and use "enablecheats password" to log as an admin) and the setting should show in the radial wheel.

I tried setting spawn multiplier to 2, nothing. I added the command line for no hibernation in steam for startup, made no difference. Dinowipe, left my game running for 2 hours so they have time to respawn, it gave me 1.6k dinos in total. If I stay in a different area for a while, it will just de-render stuff until I sit at the same low ass number again. Tried playing non-dedicated now, its the bloody same thing. I'd be super grateful for any ideas on how to make stuff spawn

you did something wrong disabling hibernation, by the sound of it. as a warning, it will massively increase memory use by the game

In our server we have boosted settings as well and the Baby Mature Speed multiplier is on 100.

I got a question about the transfer all button on ps5 ASA. Back in ASE you would hit L1 and it would transfer every item from a creature's inventory or storage to yours, but in ASA every time I hit L1 it transfers all of MY items into the storage or creature first, and will only transfer it all to my inventory if I hit the button twice. you probably dont, that is a weird bug likely related to how the plant X structure works. it would need to be fixed by wildcard or a modder

does anybody know why my ark freezes sometimes when im in the menu. Its on pc and it only happens in the menu/before joining a server. Its either a short freeze for a minute or two or i have to reset the entire game

that should just work. not much else you can do. it may just be delayed or restricted spawns

an easy way to test if it is working is to find a wild dino, leave, come back. is it still the same colors, or if you can check, same stats?

i would not trust that to report correct terminology in this case

if that is counting things in stasis, then it is working. it just takes time and proximity for stuff to spawn

otherwise, singleplayer only uses it for tamed creatures

the spawners most likely work differently. not wasting resources spawning stuff that will be instantly deleted by hibernation
