For the time being at least I went to properties on ASA steam, betas and turned on PTR setting it popped an update and set my game version to 47.1 and I can keep playing on my unofficial server. Not sure if this is recommended or not, just my current solution if you want to try it.

The problem is Ark released a new major version for the clients but hasn't pushed it out to the unoffical and private servers. There's a built-in restriction that you can't be on different major versions.

For those that missed it - on Steam you can right-click on Ark: Survival Ascended, choose properties, then go to Betas and select "public_test_realm" from the Beta Participation dropdown. Ark will update, and then you can get in to servers running 47.x

Hello. I want to use the Power Rangers Cosmetic. I can equip it to a player skin but when I apply it, it removes my chestpiece. I can apply it to a chestpiece but not the tek Chestpiece. This is weird cause the Bobs Tall Tales Cosmetics work fine on a Tek chestpiece.
What can I do to use the Power Rangers Skin with my Tek Gear?

Is it like Evolved where Skins can't be applied on Tek Armor... except the Tall Tales Stuff?

What happens was I uploaded my character from the centre to scorched earth and then while I was on scorched earth my game crashed and when I try to go onto any of the maps it says make a new character and when I click download character it just says loading and never loads

Yeah these crashes are awful. I hope @nova sand can pin point it. I rarely crash but crash several times a day now since Summer Bash went live. I'm not at my PC to check but I do remember it keeps giving a line 873 error in the crash notes. Something about a device hang. Is all I remember. But it happens no matter what you do. Just randomly flying or walking or using a TP. I got it back to back last night when logging in to my official server.

I searched my previous message from yesterday and this was the error if any Dev sees this:

I Googled my issue and someone from earlier this year said they fixed it by disabling all mods. This was well before Summer Bash came out though. So could be a mod issue. But guess what? Summer Bash is a mod..so could very well be the Summer Bash mod causing it to hang 🤷‍♂️

I can only speak from a PS5 standpoint but i've disabled every mod, rebuilt my database, reinstalled the game. Turned on a setting that skittle recommended. For me it seems clear that the Summer Bash is the issue. I never crashed until this update.

unfortunately errors from the xbox/microsoft version are basically meaningless due to the function names being stripped out

that basically means the game went to check the GPU's homework and windows found it locked in it's room and refusing to respond, so it gave up and told the game the GPU is not home. you can increase the time windows waits for the GPU to respond, which will help if it is not frozen/crashed completely. ```

To apply (sets the value to 16 seconds), run these commands in an administrator command prompt:

that is not crashing, to start. some sort of connection issue between you and the server, or the particular server is just overloaded completely. likely nothing you can do from your end
