Anyone experiencing a detrimental bug where your inventory vanishes? Your bar items grey out, anythimg you pick up leaves the storage but its not showing in your inventory. Cant get food, cryoballs nothing. Reloading game doesnt fix it either. Dying seems to be only way to reset your char and retrieve your items that you couldnt see.
This happened 5 times since last night now and it caused me to lose a baby dino cause couldnt feed or cryo it in time

on ark survival evolved (not ascended) had an island save, but i wanted to play from genesis 2, i deleted the island save from in game since i wanted to add the dino storage mod. after leveling up in genesis 2 i wanted to take that survivor, gear and dinos to the island again, since i had already deleted the stuff there. i loaded into the island but i was still the survivor from my old island save even tho i deleted it. thought nothing of it and went to the obelisk to download my gen 2 survivor and he came across alright but none of its items are loading in, ive checked online and they mention typing in the search bar and stuff, but nothing works.
Tldr: all my items over ark data seem to be lost and i dont know what to do

Im not on Xbox, but when I'm laggy I just bring my LAN cable to my room plug it in, and then unplug it, some reason when I do this, my game stays relatively stable for an hour or two.

I'm on ASE, on gen 1 sp, and for a while now it has bothered me that after i defeated the Alpha king titan and transfered to gen 1 my implant shows only "gamma king titan"; so i settled for using the defeatboss command, and im 100% sure im typing correctly the command - cheat defeatboss 0 King Titan 2, but it either doesnt do anything (i've tried variations) or it says "bad or missing property difficulty" - using quotes on the king titan part absolutely did not work, what should i change on this so it works?

So I tamed my first Acrocanthosaurus, after an hour, and I can’t roar. My settings aren’t change control wise, so I don’t know why it won’t let me roar. C does not do anything when it says that it should Toggle Shield Stance. Neither of my CTRL buttons work to make him roar, my left CTRL makes him shield, but my right CTRL does nothing. Anybody know what is going on?

Originally when Ceratosaurus was implemented into ARK, I had horrible FPS, which was mended by a dino wipe. The dinos, all of them, were hyperspawning for me...like seeing multiple rare dinos at once in same location

#

If you find out your FPS has improved vastly by a dino wipe, it is possible you (and many others) suffer from a memory leak or similar problem due Cerato and the fish just existing as wild creatures. I at least have now disabled the spawn of the Ceratosaurus entirely and it keeps my FPS very high effectively.

Basically, if you want to try disabling the two new dinos from spawning...Go to your game.ini and add lines:

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Ceratosaurus_Character_BP_ASA_C",ToClassName="")
Above disables the Ceratosaurus from spawning.

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Xiphactinus_Character_BP_ASA_C",ToClassName="")
And this disables the wild new fish from spawning.

I have only tried disabling the Ceratosaurus for now. Not entirely sure how to format the above lines if you wish to disable both same time.

Of course, exit the game before adding those lines, hit save button in notepad after adding them and they should work.

You will need to do a dino wipe after entering the game again to remove existing wild dinos of each type. The above lines will not delete your tamed variants that currently exist so that's a positive.

Haven't seen anyone else saying this so far but since the most recent update , asa is stuck at 31fps for me , rtx4070, I was getting 60fps at 1440p, even if I lower all settings to crayon it still stays on 30fps, only way I get over 50fps is ifni turn on frame gen and that cause constant crashes.

It'll say "Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..." and then it all closes.

I've reinstalled, changed settings to as low as possible, turned off overlays from other stuff such as discord/steam which have casued me crashes in the past, made sure all drivers and such are up to date, done everything i can think of to fix it

this is why knowing your PC specs is kind of important, though. a GT 1030 wont run any modern game. it wont even run survival evolved above utterly trash settings. it is not a gaming card.

you're realistically looking at needing an RTX 4070 or RX 7700 to get decent frame rates and you'll need a pretty good CPU to go with it

So okay for context there was the big major update almost 2 weeks ago that broke mods on servers and made them crash. So I started my server and transferred from TI to SE and there the server crashed, and my character was gone. But because of Backups, I could restore my Character! So when I restored my character, I transferred to SE and laid down in my base and logged off because I was scared it would happen again! (then I saw there are problems with the servers😅) Now Today I came back (I didn't log in since that nor the server was up since that time) and started the server did all the updates and logged in to see my character is gone
 it got deleted even in the save files. I looked in both TI save files and SE ones and in both there was no trace of my character
 what happened?? Was it a mod? An update?

Never changes, inside or out of base. Just remains steady at 20-23 fps, and 60fps exactly in the menus. Stays exactly the same if clouds, fog or any graphics settings are changed. Max FPS is off, and there is no frame cap in the Nvidia control panel settings either

just download the old one from the nvidia site (driver page > beta and older versions link), you should not need to manually delete the new one, although it is a good idea in case of any issues (there is a reputable third-party program called display driver uninstaller to manage this)

memory corruption due to the CPU being unstable from unsafe power levels, in unreal engine games it tends to cause errors related to loading/decompression, and fake out of video memory errors, plus a lot of random-looking crashes

I play on a 3060 12Gb but I have to lower graphics and use commands to turn off the volumetric clouds and stuff. Playable though. But anything less I think you are going to be at 30fps a lot.
4060 or 4070 is probably the way to go.

Don’t go 4060. If they’d called it the 4050 and priced it accordingly, it would be a great card. But the memory bandwidth on it holds it back.

Hi everyone. Trying to figure out two things. Why game crashes occasionally. And weird texture glitches. Crash mentions something about “ark shooter game”. And I sometimes see dark squares/cubes on sand textures. I’ve tried verifying files, changing settings

I keep crashing when placing adobe ceilings over thatch ceilings. The ceilings also have the Bob's Tall Tales Frontier Skins on them. I rarely crash and keep crashing non stop when doing this so this has to be an issue right now.

Xbox S ASA single player - since the last two updates (for new creatures and premium mod "fix") I haven't been able to stay connected more than 15 -20 minutes. I've tried updating my mods, then unistalled the mods, then this morning uninstalled/reinstalled the game. Did not reinstall mods. I've cleared the cache 4 times. I was able to play for 15 minutes before it crashed. Besides getting an X or PC, any other ideas? I really don't want to go back to ASE but right now it's the only thing that works. 😩
