You only need one cake between fire attacks. The herbs take 50% less damage from dragon fire. So if you cap them at 2100 health they take 2100 Dmg and the cake heals 2100 back.

the dragon is considered one of the three toughest fights in the game

its doable certainly but you should be prepared

if you have a spyglass mod or tek binocs then tame ones with md and hp as close to 40 as you can get

sometimes you get lucky with just over 30 but the higher the starting number the better chance for really high results

With rhynio, at least on PS5, you gotta press two buttons to pick stuff up with. It's melee (R2) and the button to change to first person while on a tame (R1) don't know the controls on PC.

Steam, windows, ps, and xbox are all crossplay. The only exceptions are nondedicated servers (which are not crossplay at all), and windows is temporarily removed from the PVP official servers.

Ideally 2 good bailos, male and female, breed, raise, get full imprint. Both alphas are pretty easy kill with a good saddle if you can kill other creatures in the area before fighting them so you don't get over run.

You technically don't need a water tame at all, just swim, though easier with one and scuba. Aggro the manta's away, kill, then just passive tame. You just have to be careful of other sea creatures attacking you. If you have a water tame, even a meglodon, just kill everything in the area then keep an eye out for the wild stuff respawning

Are there administrative in here that can deal with toxic players. There are 2 people on server 5263 at 36.5 lat, 96.6 lon trapping players underwater and shaking them down and killing there dinos drowning players and claiming to be WC's kids so they can't be reported or touched. I mean, you can try for sure, but the routes I took for water caves made a few parts a tight fit for even basilos. They slightly altered the size of the caves (ie couldn't fit Thylas in most the land caves sadge) so its debatable if it can fit, but I would bring a good basilo as a backup just in case. Before the update I could move my transmitter between two sides of my base, now I’m 1675 over the limit. If I remove a skin from a ceiling tile and replace it lowers the limit. This also removes the paint. If I just remove the paint it does not remove limit. If I add paint it does not add to limit. The only thing that lowers the limit is removing the skin but adding it again or paint does not add to limit. Is anyone having issues like this?

if you have both an xbox and a PC, I suggest making a second xbox account and using that as a server host on the PC and play on the xbox

You get exp to your character also but not as much as if you kill it on your own because it gets shared with the dino. Your best option if you want to get most out of it is killing it with your character in the end, you can get it really low using thyla and finish it off with character

Best defense is offense. Use stego to soak and drop the fob before it can be used. They can't push if your tribe is always pushing them!

Need a tip here. Every single server tells you to get out and leave. Most servers with population are Mega Tribes

They just fly around in Tek blowing up your bases like its nothing with.

They have thousands of C4 and rockets. How exactly are you suppose to play this game?

I hope this makes you feel a bit better but if the command is incorrect in your server settings/console or wherever you enter it, it will do absolutely nothing. The server will just ignore it because its not a 'valid argument,' so worse comes to worse, it just doesn't work. I think its just entered into the server console as -EasterColors but I could be wrong since I haven't worked with a server + the event. If its not that, I guess try loading it into game.ini and see if that works lol

Guys why is ark ASE on xbox on 962.6 and game pass pc on 962.5 they cant play together atm tryna find any solutions, me and my friends would run a server on an xbox and play on our pcs and we cant anymore

minor versions rarely matter. they should still be able to play together

minor versions are often different on different platforms even the crossplay ones. server versions are also different.

Last time i tried to join my server even on lan with nat open it would just join failed never had an issue when they were listed as the same version, i can try it agian and see if it works

yeah, restarting the server can help when joining. sometimes it thinks you are in and needs to restart.

Hey nice name, I have the same one. Im not sure if related but in my inoffocial server i noticed US has terribel ping now when the server is based in Aussie land. Used to not be the case. Its awfuly though. Thos host and i have 250 ping, btu if we move the server to US the Aussies get terrible rubberbanding. This wasnt the case at ASA launch so i have no idea what happened. Really sucks

Most likely because the server bogs down based on how many people are on the server. The server location doesn't matter too much if you have stable Internet. My best gameplay is always on my OC server, even though I'm us.

I would if i could but its kinda confusing for me too.

WHen you upload i think the game uses your gamtertag or steam id to know that thing things uploaded are always yours, so even when you make a new character and tribe on another server it knows. Dont quote me on that though. Hope somone who actually knows can tell you

So if on official you can bring a naked character from the island. You can’t bring items or tames. But you can transfer stuff from scorched back to the island

This is for the first 60 days then they will open up full transfers

This just prevents people from bringing breed Dino’s and beating the map in a day basically

Thats pretty nice too honestly because the map is much more fun when you start fresh. You kinda cheat yourself out of a new experiance taking a lot of stuff with you. Of course that doesnt apply to everyone.
