If you want to get around the map for the map exploration progress it's recommended to just use fliers but if you like the scenery and also farm some xp its no problem at all, recommending a fast and high stam tame tho (no rex in this case ^^)

The person hosting needs to use the website https://www.ipchicken.com/ to get the host ip , and then give it to the other people that want to join it. Port is either 27015, 77777, 7777

Person that wants to join the non-dedicated needs to do this-
Step 1: Join a single-player game of ARK.
Step 2: Click Tab to open the console.
Step 3: Obtain your server's connection information in the format of IP:PORT.
Step 4: Type: open IP:PORT and press enter.

Been playing with the locking systems on PvE Officials and testing things like pin codes and what it will or will not let you access. Everything works fine when I set all my stuff to locked and put a pin code on it. Then my Alt account who is not in tribe can access it. However, the only thing that doesn't work is the cooking pot. I have it unlocked and you can't even put a pin code on it or anything and my alt still can't access it but can accesss everything else in the same room that I have set to unlocked such as the smithy, fabricator, storage boxes, preserving bin, M n P, etc etc.

Dont have industrial tier yet so hoping the cooker will work when I get that far.

I'm having an issue with restarts after dino wipes. When it's either set to do it automatically on Nitrado or I do it manually with console commands, it almosts immediately crashes, restarts and performs a small rollback. I even tried slowly going around with the "killaoe" for wild dinos in a modest area around the player, and it still crashed

there are a lot of mistakes in the settings descriptions. Poop interval it says "higher number = more pooping" but its the other way around. I out it on 0.01 and my dinos were pooping non stop. Same with how fast babies get hungry. Super annoying when you haven't changed it so much that you immediately see that they messed up.

Its easy to fix but it will take years until this is patched out im sure of it 😦

i removed my pcie bridge and bracket yesterday to now having it plugged straight into the mobo and today i got to play for a few hours with no crashes while handfeeding. the second i left base to do a trade boom crash

if you havent tried to adjust any settings try these
and test to see if it helps
rtx stuff on is a common one(dlss,framegeneration etc), so turn it all off
disablemenutransition setting, turn it on, is off by default
disable hlod setting, turn it on

so i maybe found a new bug idk.
so earlier i got myself a bronto pregnant with an event Rhyniognatha.
1st craving came and it worked as intended.
as i waited for the second craving, the craving timer hit 0:00 seconds, at this point it should show me the next craving.. but the craving just dissapeared.
i took every single possible craving item and tried to open the menu with E on bronto to feed it, but nothing worked. i put all cravings in last slot hotbar and also dont work.
now im stuck with craving satisfaction of 40% on the bronto.
i tried relog, and tried restart game because i was thinking it may be just a visual bug.
but nothing helps.

i’m not sure you actually do. for example, i run a dedicated server from home. it’s 3feet away from the pc i game on and Ark things my ping is 80. Minecraft thinks it’s about 5 if i connect to one of the minecraft servers i run.

My suspicion is it’s the ping from Studio Wildcard to the server they show, not from you to the server.

Not saying your ping isn’t bad, just not as bad as the game is suggesting.

Reminder of what ping is in these games... It is the round trip time for a ping packet to leave your P/C get to the server and the server respond and send it back.

Distance between you and server... 100 KM = 1 ms
The time it take the server to get your ping, process it and send one back>>>> This section is 100% dependent on server load ... If it is busy responding to ping is not as fast.

Your actual path through the internet to the server and back ... Each router in the path adds additional latency and ping time. If a network segment is busy it will buffer you ping request until it can send it out.

If you are going to a server and know the ip address of that server figure out your ping time to that ip address and compair it to game ping time..

If John T is right and you are pinging their authentication servers then no matter which server you choose it may not make a difference,

I think the new Oasisaur really needs to get nerfed because it can fly, you can build on it, it seemingly has unlimited water which just defeats the challenge of scorched earth, and the ability to revive your tames should be single use but the tames body would have to be at the spring undamaged. It should also be extremely rare to find and difficult to tame. And like the titanosaur and the extinction titans to make less people want to use it make it unable to eat food so people can’t have one of the Oasisaurs forever because it would eventually starve to death.

we don't know who is setting what priorities but I would bet it's not the devs setting them. They also may not yet know what is causing the crashes.

Different platforms, PC specs, game settings and what the user was doing at the time the crash occurred make for a lot of variables to look into.

When I tamed all the creatures on ase this was a issue, I believe it either just doesn't show that you tamed it but it still counts or you crashed at some point and some of that progress was deleted

I love Ark but ascended has become so frustrating on both console and pc. I play by myself and on pc a few weeks ago I lost all my saves and the game just didn’t run well even on a 3070 so I decided to get it on console and it was a smoother experience but about a week ago the game just stopped saving my progress and when I would turn it off and turn it back on instead of spawning me where I last turned off the game at it’s been spawning me mid air and literally dropping me to my death or near death in random locations all over the map. I love this game but I’m so frustrated at this point I’m just done putting myself through it trying to play it.
