destroywilddinos does seem to work, my saves are working again. It’s annoying to have to keep wiping them but it’s better than nothing. Coincidentally my base is right on the edge of the redwoods right in front of coords 50/50. When i logged back in afterwards about 30 dinos started falling from the sky at 50/50 right in front of me. Maybe that was part of the issue idk

I got a new computer a while ago and have been trying to install ark evolved but it won’t let me. Before it was saying I had a corrupt disk so I changed out my hard drive and now when I try to download it it gets stuck on installing 0% for hours and i leave it on over night and it’s still at that %. I try pausing it and it won’t let me. When I looked it up it said to force stop it and delete the newest app manifest file. So I do that and tried installing it again and same thing happened. I have tried installing this game several times.

They Only spawn near the top left corner of the Island. So if you don't see them up there a wild dino wipe would be the best thing.

i tend to hold w to walk while game is loading. and keep pushing mouse up so youd look into the sky. it takes a few tries but it will work. also you can turn your graphics to lowest then load into sp. doing what i just said. then when it works save and turn graphics back to what you had

Theres a program on steam for asa called ark survival ascended dedicated server that take alot of the hassle out of setting up a server. Its kinda overwhelming at first but once you mess around with it youll be okay. And the freedom of messing around in the .ini is chefs kiss

That's a disk issue. It's not network related - it has to move a large number of files around. So if you have a slower drive, or if your drive doesn't have a lot of space, it'll take a long time

if you have a pteradon, u can kite the argy a way from danger to your trap, a good spot is on the far west just before the snow area , as u can kite them south to where there less danger. just watch your stamina on pterydon

I'd still check above where you died around the ocean. bodies float upwards in water. if you were too high up when you died your cache won't be created when your body is gone tho. (if thats still how it works anyway)

1. Will the bronto attack my sleeping body
2. will it attack my iguanadon

Hi, I've been having an issue where randomly I'll crash and get stuck in a crashing loop. Usually the game loads just fine, but sometimes when interacting with an inventory or mounting a tame or just randomly while moving I'll crash and then get stuck in a crashing loop where the game crashes immediately upon launch for several minutes, and then crashing upon loading into a server for several more minutes after the launch crashes end. Then it miraculously gets resolved and the game runs without issue for another few hours. Anyone else having crash loops like this?

The crash will almost always say "out of video memory" even if there's plenty of memory. Sometimes I'll get a crash message when the game doesn't even crash, and I can play for hours just fine after getting the crash message but if I hit "ok" it closes the game and then I'm stuck in another crash loop.

I'm not having the issues you are having. Not saying the game is perfect but I'm able to play. Don't think anyone here is saying you don't have issues with it. The thing is when it comes to pc everyone has a different setup. Specs can be different, brands are different and so on and so on. I seem to have a lot of trouble at times with the menu ui controls for ark on controller. Some thing feela bit unintuitive. Say im at a drop and i just want to quickly take all, is there a button i can press for that on controller? I know theres a button you can move your cursor to but i think you used to be able to just hti a single controller button. Yuty can take a little bit to get going, but once they start they drop eggs as fast as theri's. Honestly with way oviraptors work now you don't need a kibble farm.

You'll never miss an egg, I just have ovi's around my breeders etc and I have more kibble than I'll ever use.

Mind you I never had a kibble farm in ase either, I just picked up eggs whenever I daw them and had plenty. If you're really bothered about having a lot, have a male with a minimum of 6 females and a nearby ovi on wander.

They brought cryo's in early as way of dino storage as servers were getting tame capped. They never intended to have to and it appears they don't want people to be able to use them everywhere on the map. They are intended to be used in your base.

Breeding some otters inside a base, have 4 females with 1 male to work towards melee mutations. But sometimes when I log back in some of them are gone. Check the tribe log and it says they were killed, but not by what. I checked the troughs they were near, food is still well stocked. Is this a common issue, and if so has anyone found any sort of work around?
