Assuming this is on a male, swap it with your 24-0 male. When it makes a baby it will be *26-0 (without adding a new mutation). In other words itll move the female count of 1 over to the male side

Assuming you do everything smoothly, that female count will only ever get as high as 1 before going back down to 0

So to answer your question no dont need to kill it

Mutation from the mom is worth the same as a mutation from the dad, as breeding it will convert it into mutation from the dad

Because It said ran out of memory I tried playing on the other launch settings like No sky, Low Memory but they dont work. I tried changing the paging file still didnt work. I've verified the files multiple times, i've reinstalled the game multiple times no luck. I even bought a new ram stick but somehow still ran out of memory. On task manager it jumps from like 39% to 98% in an instant and I get the error. This isn't even on just one map All of them do this. I even did this trick where you delete the problem files and verify them later no luck. I really hope someone has an answer to this problem. Cause I love this game.

Got another breeding question if anybody can help. I’m breeding megas to do brood mother. To make a breeding pair, I’m aiming for high hp on one and melee on the other, but with a 150 tamed at 100% to 225, why should I be aiming for in each of those stats?

You want to max those stats separately or you'll cap out 20/20 long before 254. You get a bunch of females and 1 male. Once you get the stat you want you switch the male BUT only work on 1 stat at a time. Like say you're doing melee first. Get your first mutation and switch the male. Only switch the male again when you get another melee mutation. Up to 254 you'll have to do it in separate groups until you have all the max stats you want. Then breed max male with random female to transfer stats. Until you have super dino with all desired max stats.

Wild level 150 perfectly tamed at 224 will give 74 extra randomly distributed points into stats. So depending on what it was at 150 and what it ends up being is what you need to figure out. Look up a calculator, or use ark smart breeder's extractor

With tether distance set to the max on a non dedicated hosting session (ASE), why is it that there's a certain area that my friend and I will go over that still teleports me to the host? It's on the top of a snowy mountain in the west of the Ragnarok map

The issue is that most dinos spawn as part of a Spawn Container, typically featuring many different creatures, this is true of Spinos who spawn in the DinoSpawnEntries_InlandWater_C container. The following creatures can spawn in that container, so to truly be 'recycling' for new Spinos, you need to focus on killing all of these creatures:

Nice, glad you found a solution. If you do happen to struggle with either chasing or feeding the otter, I found it useful to use the 'crouch' grab whilst flying with an Argy to hold the otter in the Argie's beak. It will stay when you land it, makes it easier to deal with the otter.

I've seen this a lot lately. 70% of the time, it's your filters. Once I boot up and get in game I can check for you. The other 30% are experiencing some other type of error. If it's the other type of error and we can't find it, then I've had some success in the past with people renaming their server and restarting it.

The raft physics in the game are sparse. Very sparse. Sparse enough for people to exploit with them for raft to raft raids. As far as I am aware, there isn't any 'current' physics in the game. Rafts will drag and get stuck on things and stutter if you're attempting to navigate too shallow of an area.

90% of their PC/server patches are related to fixing the servers and lately the server filters. Try renaming the server and restarting it. That may refresh it so it pops. Make sure there are no words in the name that Ark considers a bad word. That will also prevent your server from showing.

They do, it just takes time to get the mutations stacked and then the down breeding to level 1 dinos THEN combine them to knockout the trash stats.

As you go just transfer stats using a lower level dino to lower the level while working on stats.

So if you start getting to close to 450 breed your statted dino with a level like 10 until you transfer stats it’ll drop it like 100 levels or more.

i see my server on that website, although its showing no mods and my server def has mods. i tried to do open (myip) and it says invalid password, added the password after the ip and still same thing. not sure if there is a different command for entering password. but it seems now i cant even load up single player without crashing. getting pretty close to not worth the headache and just uninstalling

go try urself, they've made many updates since u last played, even on release I was only crashing once every 10 hours if that (singleplayer)

The crashes are caused by 1000 different things and different for each person. A lot are resolved by disabling those two gfx settings, some by preventing hibernation, and most of the rest are caused by mods.

If it's your world, you can use cheat Fly and ghost to then get on it and then use fly and ghost again to get it out I believe
