I may have found a solution to the recent issue causing the game to not save singleplayer progress properly on xbox for Ark Survival Ascended. I originally posted this solution in the bug report forums a day or so ago but it seems to have been removed. Anyways, whenever the game would fail to save any forward progress, i would always notice an asset overflow high in the sky at coordinates 50x50. Usually just a bunch of wild animals clustered together but i have seen lost tames (some of which having been cloned) and even structures like foundations floating high in the sky surrounding a pair of floating underwear. This is something I have consistently seen with this issue.

HOWEVER, since I think it is an asset overflow, I have found that using the command "cheat destroywilddinos" to wipe the wild dino spawns and reset the overflow actually helps some and allows the game to save progress. I have noticed that this helps and i daresay fixes the issue to some extent consistently and reliably as i have done this and tested this more than once. Each time the game wouldn't save, i'd check coords 50x50, find an overflow, wipe wild dinos, save the game, and relog to check and it has always worked with everything (mostly) intact.

This is a consistent solution that I would recommend trying and utilizing until Wildcard can patch this out for good. If this is affecting you, please check coords 50x50 for an overflow and then destroy wild wings to reset it. Then save your game, log out, and check to see if it helps.

@umbral sand @glass sonnet thank you. I have seen a similar post on reddit as well. I've done this. And it has fixed the saving issue. When I tested this I had just built a stone hut where I am moving to. I relocated dinos and building supplies. Then I did a dino wipe and saved then exited. Apon relogging the game did save but most of my stone hut disappeared except the storage was floating. Also most of the building supplies had disappeared. But the game has been saving since dino wipe.

@umbral sand probably would be best to do a dino wipe after logging on then save exit. Then recognize and enjoy. Also what I've been doing is when I do save then exit, I re launch to check that it worked. Then save and exit. I do this before I close the game entirely. I've had this not work when closing the game after you save and exit.

I have an Xbox and my husband and friends have PC. We got a PC server ... I don't know what is causing my issues, but the only wheel I can access is the one with the whistles... I think it would depend on other settings. If that makes sense. I think we upped the amount of imprint they get each time.

I do know there's an app you can get that will tell you what to enter to get a certain stat to raise, in your server settings... it's like 20 dollars to completely unlock all of its features, but you can do a lot in the free area.

The app is called beacon, but my tribe mate said some of its stats seem a little off.

Your Carcha should have no problem with the Alpha Rex if it is a decent level. You may want to put it into bloodrage mode first if you want. The stamina won't be a problem, you can keep attacking even with no stamina. Worst case, it you think you might lose just run away. Shouldn't be difficult to escape.

Now the issue is either I have to work towards the tonic or I work towards regular kibble for let's say a pteranodon.

Which of these is a more difficult task?

Its more like the higher your stats are at the start the lower amount of time you have to spend on them. Giga take 10 days to be grown on x1. Lets say you want to get to 30. You have a 6% chance to get a mutation and thats spliting the chance between 7 stats. But lets say you get it perfect everytime cauze your a pro. Each mutation gives 2 points to get to 30 you need 15. 15 mutations is 150 days and that is ONLY the raising time. Not counting the transfer stat time.

You, and 60,000 other people are all loading curseforge at the exact same time. As BeeMerry suggested, restart your game. Keep trying, or just wait. Curseforge servers can't handle all the queries from a console launch. The server is overloaded.

Hello I have a question regarding the Extra Life event, tell me pls:
For example, I want to raise a rex with 100% imprinting.
On x1, after reaching 100% imprinting, I only have 3.3% growth left. Very small supply.
If I throw out the eggs at the beginning of the event when the rates are for example x3, and the babies will hatch.
They will receive a next imprinting timer from x3, but the ratings will most likely increase and let’s say they will immediately switch to x5.
Rex will grow 5 times faster, and the binding will be x5.. but the time until binding will not change the same, it will also be x3.
And it turns out that I won’t have time to do 100% until the ratings stabilize and only then hatch.

Tell me what's the best way to proceed, I'm confused... T_T
As I understand it, the ratings will increase only within 24 hours of the stream and they can grow constantly.

It breed with a clean female (0/0) 6.8K HP
The baby got a HP mutation on the female health and is now at 7.1K HP

Hey, I found a temporary workaround for that issue. Strangely, I can play perfectly fine on my alt steam account. Though, when I play on my main steam account I get that same error. It's like my internal wildcard account ID is in limbo connecting state or something. Anyway, I had to speak with an admin on my unnofficial server to change my ArkProfile ID to my alt's profile ID and I can resume playing again. I don't think this would help someone trying to continue progress on officials, but at least they'll be able to play at all until the issue is fixed.

A friend is having inventory issues, they seem to disappear visually, he looked into a box where i can see items and there was none for him. He just cant see any items. When he logs back on, the items are back but it doesn't last very long til they disapear again

I just got asa for ps5, and I can't even play single player, which is all I fancy playing rn - I load in, try to put my levels in because I had a few, instantly crash. Rinse and repeat.
I do have mods, but I've tried this removing mods at a time and it only seems to not crash when I have zero mods on, which sucks because I really wanted to play with the mods. Is there any way around this or am I cursed to play without mods?

I think I only had the additions dinosaurs, the indo pair mod and a spyglass mod ;; I'm not sure if they conflict at all but I'll certainly keep it in mind, everything worked when I tested all the mods together in creative, it was just the moment I tried to level up, crash after crash 😂

So my server difficulty level is set to 10 to allow wild dinos to go to lvl 300. Our subscription ended, but I renewed server like a day later, and every dino is capped at 150. I tried putting the server difficulty to 5, and other difficulties, but it's just locked in at 150 max, not changing at all.
