For anyone getting join failed error; check and make sure which WiFi network your connected to. I’ve been getting join failed/ lost connection to host error since console drop 5 hours ago and I was using 5G wifi, I just now connected to the 2.4 reg wifi and instead of the join failed error I’m now getting the server full try again error. Hopefully this helps you

@merry wigeon you can type in the search box at top of inventory the item you want to transfer. For example if you type prim all primitive items or prime meat will display and after searching and displaying it this way you can transfer all and it will only transferred the stuff in the search window. Situational this can be a bit quicker than just dragging.

-ServerPlatform=PC -pconlymods

Put this into your commandline and then crossplay is deactivated.

You would have to check the dino level inside that would give you a basic idea of where the highest loot would be. If you have basilo even the underwater caves will be the best but not easy to access early on.@wind shore

Wtf is going on with ark?! Something they changed is capping my gpu? i can't reach 99% load anymore its always between 80% and 90% in my base even 50%! I don't have a fps cap and my hardware is not bottelnecking: 4070, Ryzen 5 7600x, ddr5 32 gb 6000 Mhz! On some places i have insane differences with the fps and my gpu usage for example if i lock at the redwood my fps are horrible between 40 and 50 and if i lock at the Vulcan its the same! You will need the ceilings to be attached to a building part that is categorized as a foundation for this to work. Foundations themselves and pillars are both categorized like this. I am sure that what you want can be done, but you may need to get a bit creative. Maybe elevate the greenhouse a bit like it is on "stilts" using some pillars/foundations and then use greenhouse ceilings as the actual flooring. Personally, I would use metal foundations/pillars so that it matches the aesthetic.

Is It possible for SOMONE PLEASE explain to me WHY Ark Assended and steam would UN-INSTALLED itself after a crash? AsA KEEPS crashing when trying to craft things.. and then my friend who plays on my server with me. HER AsA crashed when trying to craft a item. and when it crashed. Steam is now requireing her to RE-INSTALL the game. so.. SOMONE? ANYONE. WHY did this happen and is it a commmon thing now.

Hello everybody, I need your help pls.

My Downloaded dinos dissapearing on server restart:

When I upload a dino via obelisks and download it, they will stick around for a while and behave like normal but when the server restarts they all disappear, no death message, no loot bag, and they dont show up in either the tame tracker or the obelisk downloaded menu. Does anyone know the cause/have a fix ?

The one where your camera gets stuck inside your character on dismount? Yes it’s a pretty common issue, relogging is the only fix. These devs aren’t fixing crap with this game they just keep feeding BS lines like “fixed leaks” or “Improved memory”. I just gave up like so many others! Check back in a while maybe they’ll fix something….

Is there a fix for the 50/50 glitch? Server I'm playing on appears to be worse than any others I've seen. Dozens upon dozens of wild tames and structures appearing there. And seems to cause server crashes.

@carmine lance there are several people who have a unique bug that prevents them from accessing the server they had already been playing on. they can still play on other official servers but not the 1 they had already been active on. When joining we all get a timeout msg. to get around this we would go into single player and use a command to get in through singleplayer directly using the IP of the server. but today it now no longer works. if anyone has a solution please share. the server is not full. we have been dealing with this for a week now and this has been the only way to enter our servers

@carmine lance there seems to be a bug where some people can't access any servers at all. It freezes on the joining server message and you have to close the game down. Doesn't seem to be a very common bug either.

The version of my download is 31.17 when the current version is 31.28 which seems to be preventing me from accessing official servers. There is no update available so I am not sure how to resolve this issue. I have tried reinstalling the game and many other things which leads me to believe it is a firmware issue (which was corroborated by Microsoft support and they recommended I contact wildcard directly).
Any advice or assistance would be much appreciated as I am eager to play with my tribemates on official.

in ark single player default settings I was taming all of my dinos I delt damage to them while unconcous and when they woke up there taming effecvness was at 100% from being at low taming effectivness and they were eating berrys/raw meat all low level dinos so when they woke up it went back to 100% is this normal? it happened on multiple computers default single player on the island
