Is your bronto on top of ceilings as its flooring? Try whistling it to follow you until it moves a little/readjusts itself. I had it happen a lot that it looks like it should be fine, but the only option that shows is the "Harvest options" on it. It may have sunk into whatever its standing on and needs to be popped out.

I have been sacrificing movement speed jor more torpor. When you get pounced on by a raptor what I do is get ready to select eaither bolos or sword. There's a move i will call it, lol that I do with the sword. Rather than just standing and slashing you move your character side to side. You kind of work with the auto targeting. Easy the fem with 0 mutations erase the mutation counter on fem side so you can keep getting mutations. As long as you keep the fem side 0 you can keep getting mutations

Kinda but no. You will be getting the mutation on the baby dino. From the mothers side. Since fem side is at 0/20. You take that baby and do 1 of 2 things. If the baby is a male and you got the stat you want. You change to the new male and breed with the fems again. If that new stat is on a fem you breed the old male with the new fem until the stat is on the male. (Or just throw the fems out and only keep males with mutations)

Your mutation counters are in your ancestry button in dino inventory.

So basically, if you don't experience this issue in single player, but you do on the server. That 9 times out of 10 usually means the issue has something to do with the server. Since the servers are being patched recently with movement optimizations I assume you're experiencing the 'rubber-banding' with a mix of lag. There isn't much you can do till it's patched.

@frank yarrow I host my own private server with just myself on it. I've got a ping of 12 and periodically my movement will rubber-band and my character will stutter. Restarting the server can fix it, but the issue returns. It's part of their movement optimizations for the servers in their last patches. They're working on it.

Frame Generation is causing GPU driver crashes for nearly everyone randomly. So it's best to leave that off. For the Low Level Fatal Error, I would disble Foliage and Water interactions. Make sure your instant tooltip delay is set to off. Also make sure your instant menu transitions is set to off in your options.

for the last 24 hours i havnt been able to join my nitrado server. I crashed in a cave yesterday, and ever since then every time i join my server, a couple of frames go by and then the game crashes. No error message, no nothing, game just freezes and I have to close from task manager. yea its official server lag, we did more then 40 atempts and only succeeded with 2

we tested a lot of bugs out on singleplayer and literally all of them didn't exist on singleplayer, which is also the reason I asked above for official server saves. All of the bugs in the game are caused by Nitrado server lag at this stage.

-When entering the command [ark.VertexCountScaling 1] Player movement begins to stutter when changing directions in the XYZ directions. Stuttering is subtle but over time it gets worse with every game startup, making the game unplayable.

Failed Fixes:
-Uninstalling the game: Does not work as when the game is reinstalled the stutters persist.
-Verifying files: While you might think this would fix something, for me at least this fixes not this bug or any other.
-Suicide: Killing yourself does not fix the issue.
-God Mode: While when flying the stuttering goes away, the moment you contact the ground the stuttering continues.

Working Fix:
-Beds: Go to a bed and teleport to another. This will fix the stuttering immediately and permanently.

I've solved the invalid login problem :

1. Play singleplayer
2. Open command prompt, then type "open (Server ID)". Then Enter
3. You can look for the Server ID on battlematric or from the invalid image info
4. Your game might crash, or getting disconnected from the server again, but the change of getting into the server is really high (it only took me 3 times)

1. Write down the remote address for whatever server you’re trying to join (look for remote address when the UNetConnection error pops up).

2. Go to single player and open the console. Type open and the remote address number and press enter (it should look like this in the console: open 11.11.111.111:1111)

3. After pressing enter the game should automatically exit single player and start the process to join the server you were having trouble with

If you've exhausted all of your options, and no matter what you do, you can't escape the low level fatal errors, there is one more thing you can do. I've got a crappy laptop in the living room. I installed Geforce Now, paid for the 4080 remote PC, and I can stream the game in 4k with perfect performance, no lag to my living room. It's a good alternative if you're beating your head against the wall waiting for Wildcard to address the DirectX issues.

With the Holidays closing in, I suspect we won't see any patches or fixes for a good while. I wouldn't be surprised if they were already out on Holiday. They've been really quiet.

If you go that route just disable Frame Generation. It's not stable at the moment and leads to device hung errors. Also leave off the menu transitions and the tooltip delay. I was blown away. I adjusted my bitrate to max. Streamed it in 4k. Felt like the PC was local. Geforce Now really has stepped up their game.

@gilded nexus reduce every single setting on ASA on your pc to lowest and disable everything then try to run the game once it runs improve each setting to medium but do it slowly or a couple at a time so u optimize the setting to your pc I think some of the settings r buggy after all the game is early access and its not optimized properly

I'm getting the "UNetConnection::Tick: Connection TIMED OUT." error whenever I try to join Official NA servers as of the past 5 days. EU and Asia works fine.
I tried different internet connections (even a mobile hotspot), verified files, restartet everything and as a last ditch effort even installed a VPN.
There are people on the server (5416) and I had someone from the US try to connecto to it without any issues, so it feels like a problem on my end, or possibly my region (north europe)

Hey everyone, this may apply to you. The reason my inventory wasn't showing for anything but I was only seeing armor is because somehow I selected 'Equippable' in the source inventory instead of 'All Items' and it applied to any inventory source. Please make sure it's set to 'All Items'. There is a drop down menu to select this in the source inventory.

Yeah, they fix one thing and then Break about a dozen more things. I usually run the game at Medium Settings... barely get 60fps with a 4080.
