gpu should work on 100%, the only reason it shouldnt is if the game is not heavy enough for your gpu or if the gpu has a certain issue, dont stress if its working on 100% though

If you crash during character creation start the game with -dx11 as a steam launch parameter. Beware, you might remove it after your char has been created to reduce severe FPS impact (and repeat every time you need to make a new character)…or not, depends on your system. Gotta try it out

I believe you use 1/mature speed to get the cuddle interval, so 0.5 for mature speed of 2. You can also adjust the baby imprint amount multiplier if you want to make imprinting easier

Exact same issue, server reboot fixes it for a short time but it returns. It's micro rubber banding when finishing movement or trying to strafe while running or turning, doesn't seem to be happening when riding a dino. Prior to the update I had 0 issues.

Tapejaras get a permanent camera bug when they land on walls in confined spaces, like 1 wall high flier shelves.
The camera stays stuck flickering all over the place, but does not go back to normal when the Tapejara leaves the space it bugged out at.
I've tried relaunching my game, no fix.
Other Tribemembers see the same glitch when they ride this Tapejara.
I've had 1 Tapejara bugged out like this for days, before & after patch it is still bugged.
The Tapejara is no longer functional, it will not turn and is stuck looking in one direction.
And now a 2nd Tapejara also has the same bug.

Tapejaras need to have wall-landing bound to a different key than normal ground landing to avoid this.
Like CTRL+Spacebar.

Found a fix for the permanently glitched Tapejara camera.

If your camera is stuck facing upward, you need to grapple-land onto the ceiling.
If your camera is stuck shaking from side-to-side, you need to land on the ground but not all ground surfaces will fix the glitch. I landed on the top side of the edge of a ceiling whilst colliding with a pillar and that fixed it.

It seems you need to force your 1st person camera into a certain position to fix the bug.

Its usually either Bloom or global illumination setting. Try changing those and they should appear again. If they are just hard to see turning of volumetric clouds helps a lot to make them more visible.

Shouldn't have to restart your server to fix this shit. They should give us the option to disable the network movement data "optimizations" they implemented a few patches ago so we can have a good experience again. My server and game was running so well before the optimizations and exploit fix they implemented. I think some of it is definitely client side, because mine started rubber banding before we ever patched our server to the version they released with those changes. I only had my client updated. They released an exploit fix for speed hacks I think which I assume was client side mostly and that could also be what screwed it up, not sure though.

Really wish someone involved would see this and comment on whether we can have a solution for unofficial servers to undo this stuff. Some of us actually have decent server hardware and network to run their software on and we don't need these "optimizations" that are required to make it work on nitrado's shitty solution.

Not long ago we used to be able to sort our mods manually with Nitrado's web interface via the control panel. Just recently, they implemented a new change that auto-sorts your mod ID's, so a manual load order is now impossible. When we contacted Nitrado, they basically said it's not their problem. So if that gives you any indication on the future of the endeavor, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Well there are 2 locations in the Web Interface where they show the Sort, and those both match, BUT they doi not match the INI file, which is where you need to set the sort order

The problem with the INI sorting, is Cursed does not give the ID for all MODs, so you can see where that is going

I've been suffering pretty hard from the device hang crash lately. However I just DDU'd my drivers in safe mode and did a full reinstall of the game. So far so good.

My laptop only has a 3060 with 6gb vram and it never crashed, but I can't play well on that. My desktop is in another country atm. I rented Geforce Now to play and I haven't had any crashes during gameplay with that and the game runs on max settings. It's a good solution if you have a good network and geforce now server somewhat close.

Obviously it's not ideal since most people would rather the game just work on their own hardware, but it feels like I'm running it locally.

Cleaning out all my drivers and doing a clean install improved the situation drastically. I've got a 4090 in this rig. I just refuse to turn off DLSS and Frame Generation. Which is what I see everyone suggesting. That, or lowering your graphics.

I've been testing out this Satisfied Dinos mod. Basically any dino that is aggressive that attacks something, eats it and is satisfied. So it basically roams for an indicated period of time before it becomes "hungry" again. There's a reduced agro radius on the dino in question. I feel like the lack of carnage going on is saving on performance.

You can leave the CurseForge mods blank. Insert a manual string in the INI and when the server boots it just injects the string from the saved CurseForge area and overrides anything you manually input.

I've found it to be a bit finicky, you have to look at the ladder just right, good old ark snapping fun.

The response you got is super tinfoil. There is a slider that is intended to allow the increase of the tether distance, but it currently does not work. If it was some kind of big conspiracy, then that slider probably wouldn't exist. More than likely, fixing it just isn't as big on the priority list of bugs which sucks, but that's the most probable scenario. We can complain publicly and we can wait for a fix unless someone figures out how to "fix" it locally on your own PC I guess. That's about it.

Server reboot can cause dino to despawn because the area is no longer rendered. Ark is set up so that there is a chance of despawn when something isnt rendered.

Guys, in ASA mutations, the male and female must have the same mutations to be able to increase them or is only the male bred with base females? In ASE the male was crossed with base females, but here in ASA I don't know if the female has to carry the same mutations to increase them. help please

I have a server with some friends on ase, were trying to breed rexes right now but no matter how fast we imprint on them, we can never get them to 100% by the time they mature. Anyone know any settings that will allow me to still have to imprint a couple times, but be able to actually reach 100%?

Does the Rhynio have a restriction on how far you can carry stuff? I tried to move my vault across the map to a new base location and it disappeared and my Rhynio glitched bad and the vault disappeared but it was still holding it and I couldn't put it back down or land.

Welcome to ASA, land of every dino can fly. But yes, I noticed a work around for it. If you fly out of render of your base and fly back they'll all be on the ground.

It happens very often to me too. I know it's a common issue and I've disabled the menu animations with no improvement. It seems to reliably crash when I open my inventory to assign (drag and drop) items onto my hotkeys; immediately after assigning them or exiting the inventory.

they are very helpful even at low levels. if you are on official PvE less so sense you can't pickup wild dinos but still helpful.
they are a kinda complicated taming method tho.
