so after spending all day getting in and out of game testing different things the only helpful things sofar for me have been 1- -dx11 as a launch option this stopped my game crashing i created character and got into the game. (issue here is unless looking directly down at the ground or up at the sky the game will still lag, perfect game connection when looking up and down just not straight ahead) 2- console command foliage.CullAll 1 (This removes ALL rocks trees etc from being viewable they are still there but you cant see them, game ran perfect after this) - currently looking for console commands related to trees and or rocks render distance and or density if anyone knows any?

I was having this issue every 5 mins... if you have an nvidia card, what fixed it for me was going into Geforce Experience, the driver tab and changing this to the studio driver, since this change not a single crash in 2 hours

You can mix brands but they need to all have the same speed and the same timings. It's generally better to have more RAM on less sticks as most motherboards are dual channel, not quad channel. It's generally better to have all matching RAM from the same brand just to avoid any issues, though as I said you can get away with mixing it as long as the speed and timings are identical.

Has there been any official statement on why Unofficial servers break when you restart them? I've seen like 100 people on the Nitrado discord basically with the same issue, server stuck restarting. Seems to have have happened since the last server patch for official.

Create a Non-Dedicated Server when you click "Create OR Resume Game" And after that configure it the way you want it and click "Non-Dedicated" and here you change the name of your server and the Admin password, after that just press "Accept" (Don't put private match for some reason it's bugged)

After all that your friend will be able to search the server in the Non-Dedicated Tab on the server browser. If someone random joins you can always use the Admin tools to kick him.

Also Warning when playing with a Non-Dedicated server there is a thing called Distance Tethering that is gonna make you not be able to move too far from the Host (180 meters) There is a setting you can change to put that Distance from host bigger but it's currently bugged so no matter what value you put there you can just go 180 meters away from the host

3. just got 1st Melee mutation (male)

even if you have 4090 that bug will get you if you have unlucky you are just denied play you have about 3 frames to click spawn or create char, i suggest turn literally everything to 0 and change res to lowest possible then you will get maybe 5 extra frames

make a preset for char in singlep and spawn as fast as you can, for beds respawn, then get game freeze, do it again and you will have spawned (unless you died xD) GOOD LUCK SURVIVOR!
