you might be able to go into your server settings and adjust the spawn weight of certain creatures? i forget exactly how to do it, but i did it to add sinomacrops onto me and my friend's extinction server

mating speed = higher number, faster breeding speed
mating interval = higher number, longer wait between breeding. make sure to put the interval lower to you can wait less time between breeding (i have mine at like 0.00001)
baby growth = higher number, faster baby growth. pretty simple.

HOW TO FIX CORRUPTED SAVES:

How to identify a corrupted savefile?
You have tried every method in the pinned message here #bobs-with-probs message and nothing has worked.

Step 1: Make a copy of your savefile, this can be done by duplicating (copy and paste in a DIFFERENT LOCATION) the folder in:

Steam: steamapps/common/ARK/shootergame/saved

Epic Games: [where you downloaded it]/ARK/shootergame/saved

Step 2: Delete the present save folder, and make a new savefile from in game

Step 3: From your copied Saved folder, access the file of whichever map is corrupted, for example

Island —> SavedArksLocal
Ragnarok —> RagnarokSavedArksLocal
Aberration —> AberrationSavedArksLocal

And so on…

Step 4: Copy the AntiCorruptionBackup.bak (the extension might also be .ark)

Step 5: Go back to this location: (access file of whichever map was corrupted)

Epic Games: [where you downloaded it]/ARK/shootergame/saved/SavedArksLocal

Replace its contents with the AntiCorruptionBackup

Nvm I just tested on another save file and even with infinitestats, his orbs do way too much damage to survive. I have to avoid them and try to shoot from a distance. The tentacles are susceptible to meele attacks from mounts. One simply shouldnt do that since keeping your guard up is crucial in this fight.

PvP generally is like that. if you don't let others progress on your server, its less likely for you to be raided afterall.

Are there any glaring technical problems with compatibility? I have run the game fine before with all of these mods, except for Kraken's Better Dinos which is new (but the mod's page swears it is not the issue). I also had almost all of Eco's Decor mods but I unsubbed from those when troubleshooting, and it did reduce the load time but did not change the spot it froze at.

Regardless, were it to be a problem with the mods, wouldn't the game still load as the mods aren't actually installed until I configure them at the menu when making a world?

one thing i could probably recommend... if it's an issue with your individual player either crashing / not being able to connect to the world, try deleting your mods folder and let the mods redownload when you reconnect to the server

I've been increasing the difficulty on my SP of the Island as I slowly figured out how to adjust it, SP unchecked, offset = 1, things were going good. I just added the override =5 line and things seem drastically different and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me whether this is just coincidence. I've been on the map for 150 hours and never seen any of this. As soon as I load in I'm suddenly getting spawns of high level 60+ rexes as I fly over the same kind of barren areas I'd hope to find a single pteranodon or trike, and the oceans went nuts. Very consistent cnidaria spawns, where there used to be 1, in a predictable location, now spawns 6-7, and an alpha leedsichthys is suddenly camping my base on the shore. It seems like it entirely changed the spawns instead of just allowing for higher tier wild creatures.

So we increased the weight stat in dino stats gain per level but ingame it doesn't seem to change at all. make sure you kill everything in the area even other shadowmanes. release the fish from the fish basket and store in cryopods for longterm storage (will need to put them in another fish basket for taming tho, will be easier as they don't move).

there are traps for them that work fairly well, usually just a 2x2 without a ceiling that you coax them into, net and run out of render will work tho.

Battle eye is a program that compares your core windows and game files against the version that it thinks they should be.

There is several reasons why it could be tripping but bottom line is battle eye thinks your files are incorrect

hey, does anyone know any good tips to find missing dinos? went into the central cave on the island and left my argy outside. i found the issues i think, i had enabled pve timer and i didnt notice that it say : Enables the PvE-timer. Needs to be unchecked for PvP to function.

Yea some targets will die before theyre fully knocked out , you can try to use a weaker club or a weaker mantis or use a basilisk instead , basilisks deals 3 times their dmg over a certain period of time iirc
