same way as horse. a ghiili suit can help you get closer easier but not nessicary. you ride it to tame it, just make sure you have plenty carrots/kibble/corn etc etc in your last bar slot. on official it took me literally a whole ark night to train one with carrots.

I dont think the size makes a difference. Small poop doesn't work though. I think its 4 poops and 50 thatch will make one fertilizer in the compost bin. Time... notnsure

Or you can tame a poop beetle and give it poop in its inventory and it'll give you fertilizer in return for the snacks provided

I'm looking to try and tame a giga or at least find one, but I spent the better part of the entire day today searching the desert and highlands (where I live) on Rag with not 1 spawn. I've dino wiped like 6 times, to no avail. Is there anything that could cause this? My entire time playing this save, I've seen exactly one Carcharodontosaurus 2 IRL days ago and since then I haven't had gigas or carchs spawning at all.

Tried searching for this but am having the transfer failure/inventory loss while trying to shift resources to my Gen2 map. This has happened to me (prior to their Turkey Trial shutdown) when moving resources from Crystal Isles to Fjordur. Anyone know if there is a fix or a way to mitigate loss? It doesn't seem to happen unless i have a relatively large amount of rarer resources. (Dino candies and Obsidian lost completely prior to shutdown. Just had congealed gas disappear and am nervous to proceed). If it helps, I play on xbox offical maps.

I don't know if this issue is my side or an issue with the recent update..

all explorer notes when first opened will appear to jump from the closed animation near instantly to the open animation and or the default animation point on singleplayer and non-dedicated. I haven't tested this on a dedicated session. Though, the John Dehkeya [scorched earth dlc] notes don't have an opening animation at all. It's just stuck open entirely.

I’m using smart breeder for tamed Rex’s 224, One I have says 52 in HP it’s green so I’m assuming that’s good. My question is can I find one higher and how high can it go?

aye guys could osmeone help with vocie chat issues for windows ark? I cannot hear anyone nore can i talk is there a fix for this?

first and foremost, you checked your in game volume settings, and your sound mixer jes ?

as of current i do not have my mic enabled for ark as that just turns it on open mic which i dont want and i carnt hear people still

jsut a quick note this is only with windows ark voices so steam rak vocies work, apex works etc

from what I've been reading ark has difficulty recognizing some sound inputs as it doesn't have much of a in game mixer. make sure before launching the game you have all your speakers/mic/etc plugged in and on to increase the likelihood it will recognize it. you may also try to download a third party chat mixer. apparently this has been a long standing issue with no real solution since circa 2018.

well, I was going to say enabling voice is actually a server side option, if you play on a unofficial server they may have it turned off
