I don't put much into health, around 300. Armour compensates well.

Stamina I'd say 150-200.

My weight is very high, 700.

Some people like fortitude, I don't level it much but a couple of points is helpful.

Food and water should not be leveled. Only level crafting skill after a mindwipe and go all in.

Oxygen is usually best unleveled.

This is my personal preference though, you should experiment to get what you want, and this is vastly different if you have a tribe.

Hello, i have a huge problem.
I play on official PvE and when i m riding either a Star Dolphin or a Managarmr, i always get a disconnect during the server save (every 15min), the only way to prevent this from happening, is hop off the Managarmr or Star Dolphin 1min bevor the server save, wait next to him and hop on it again as soon as it has saved.

I know that a lot of players are affected by this bug and i know that there is a solution for it, cause we had been able to help someone with the same problem 3 years ago, but sadly, i don t remember what the solution was. So if someone knows that bug and has a solution for it, i would be very pleased to hear it.

About my Computer, it is a very new one with 3070 Ti, 32 GB Ram, 1+2GB SSD. I m connected to the Internet with a Cable (i changed the Cabel to look if this causes the problem, but it didn t worked).

Now the strange thing, i have a Notebook (Laptop) which is 2 years old and has not that advanced Hardware, but if i play the game there, it works fine.

Ahh. I see. So I have seen a fuel consumption multiplier. I would look into that. Turning it down or up may result in a filled generator lasting well over a month. Meaning your cryos in the fridge will last as long as you need them to.

Hi, I run a dedicated server (PC) and have the obelisk bug (nothing in obelisk, item count shows items, get lost connection after accessing obelisk or drop). Rolled the server back, still have the same issue. Is my only option to delete my SteamID.arkprofile?

if this is not clustered, go into singleplayer and take them out of there

unless they're mod items in which case there's also a chance you've just loaded into someplace without the mods

in which case it's playerlocaldata.arkprofile you need to delete

if this is a cluster, i dont know how obelisk data is saved for them, but since obelisk shit deletes after 24 hours, just wait that out

Thanks Eclipse. Yeah, I waited out the 24 hours and still the same. The items are DinoStorage dino's and I used the S+ transmitter to complicate matters. I did the usual un-sub, re-sub etc. Even after destroying the transmitter, if I go to an obelisk it shows 281 items in there, but no icons and no contents. Looking at the ob it shows 0/300. I guess I'm looking at deleting a 3,000 hour character 🙂

So I usually dont transfer anything between maps, but now I am playing in scorched and I genuinely just do not see a way to make any progress in the tek tier on that map.. one deathworm only has like a 50% chance to drop 6-8 pearls and a tek replicator alone already costs 150....
Is there anything I am missing?

transmitter isn't relevant, the mod items are. if they're not there in singleplayer with ds loaded, you'd be deleting the file i mentioned which is specifically obelisk, minimap and explorer note data. NOT the ID file.

Though since this would be a nonclustered obelisk anyway, the dino data would have been lost regardless (nondedi/unclustered obelisk wipes their data, just like cryopopods and fert eggs). So soul recovery would have been an easier method than recreating them all anyway

Yep, the only really notable thing you'd lose (aside from any dinos in the obelisk, which could be reovered in singleplayer) is the explorer notes

You'll need admin soul recovery to get the dinos back, but that would be the case with or without the items

If you want to be safe- Back up save data first (but you want to be doing that regularly regardless)

No problem, yeah if there's any file that needs to be manually backed up, it's that one. Auto character backups are poor, auto obelisk backups are non existent (they even save instantly, so pulling item out + crash = item gone. not on map, not in obby). bit of a mess and all round unstable (expecially with mod content as you've seen here) so you need to be pretty diligent about taking backups

For consoles though, they said they'd be adding the cosmetics to HLNA, which to me implies they'll be keeping the events gone

I do insist about trying the mosschops sometime though. they harvest in a area effect too making some tricky hitboxes much easier

It could be that you are having issues connecting to the Xbox Live from your PC. Follow these steps:

Reinstalling rarely works. Validating the files does the same basic thing and is a lot faster

I don't know if setting the time will trigger the Rex or not. I am not sure exactly what causes the spawn. You might have better luck using the slowmo command to speed time up. I can't ensure that though

On my mp server, the balls just turn red and I get a message saying something like 'admin mode' what's the deal with that.

Right click opens admin mode. Admin mode means you can soul trap dinos that are not previously meant to be allowed to trap. You can hold left ctrl while holding a soul ball or the soul gun is in your hand to select different balls.

Non dedi is just unreliable as fuck. Even in vanilla. Mods download once, and it’s only really beefy lists that cause timeouts while downloading anyway. It’s less painful to just host a dedi server
