The cluster ID is supposed to be exactly identical between each and every server. You can change your cluster ID to be anything you want

Make sure you turned the switch on for CrossArkTravel

Hey guys I have been trying to solve this problem forever now. My pc is a 6950xt with 64GB of DDR4 RAM with an i9-12900K Processor and 4TB of SSD. I run at a terrible framerate for my pc only averaging around 80 fps at medium settings. My friends are able to run significantly better with way worse rigs. Any tips or help? Might reinstall.

eh ark is on a old engine and while it doesn't make much sense sometimes doesn't preform well on new rigs. it uses files from before 2015. you can try running it in windowed mode or at a lower resolution for a higher frame rate

Im playing singleplayer on The Island. I have been searching all the 5 mountains for a giga for hours. I cant find one. Everytime I do a search around all 5 mountains, i do destroywilddinos, wait a bit, then search again. Is this doing more harm than good?

Idk much, but i think whn you died, the mesh glitched it through and i just vanished through the map, however, a good way to have prevented that is by closing the game by pressing cancel on steam

it can take anywhere from 4 to 24 hours for a giga to spawn. please do not keep doing dino wipes. gigas have their own spawner, nothing else will prevent them from spawning, and all you're doing is killing any gigas you miss

C. Check mating is enabled on both of them.

So I'm new to Ark, and I modified that Difficulty level from 0.1 to some other value, hoping to get higher level creatures. How can I calculate what's the higher level creature that would be present based on the map? Is there a formula for it? For example 0.1 has max lvl 30 creatures as far as I know. How would I know this one's?

Theres two settings, the offset and the override. The slider in the main settings only controls the offset, and it can only go to a max of one. I’d highly recommend setting the slider to 1 if you don’t want wacky levels
The actual formula is something like Regular dino - Level = Number 1-30 * (DifficultyOffset * (DifficultyOverride - 0.5) + 0.5)

So it says the override can correct the issues with offset for specific maps. Since I'm on fjordur would I still need to use it? Also I did not want to slide that slider all the way to 1 because it was kind of spawning creatures way too hard for me to handle, I have already died more times than I can remember on this map. Would sliding it all the way to one be necessary to dodge any glitch or issues with levels?

deinonychuses are also amazing earlygame mounts for fjordur

alright so.... by using alpha trophies you can also summon the beta and gamma versions of the fenrir fight, so I assumed that the trophies wouldnt be consumed either, just like the tek cave on the island, however, it does consume them which is very strange and bloody frustrating.

I'm building a pipe down a hill but when I need to make a turn with a dynamic pipe, I can't place down the pipe to connect it to. It will only let me snap to the existing pipe which means I can't place the dynamic pipe. The slope seems to be blocking me from placing anything.

I can get around it by placing a foundation, putting the pipe, on the foundation, and picking up the foundation, but if there's a more elegant solution let me know

honestly i found the spider boss (island) the easiest , then the monkey dude. Monkey does go down faster, but there are some mechanics you need to understand. Lysrix (spider) is just a straight up rex rush and done.
Check out a few of the fights on YT first and see how they go, then decide from there
