after that it will eat from a trough

but u should still check on it frequently until u get a feel for how much food it needs, they need a lot and can starve easily

also if you can tame a maewing, babies can eat from its inventory like a trough

Has anyone had issues where wild dinos sometimes disappear when they are out of sight? From my tree platform I shot a thylacoleo out of a tree, it landed on the ground out of sight, and when I when to the ground the thylacoleo wasn't there. This happened twice today. And twice today I was fighting the dinos that hangs out with a yutyrannus, and when I was done fighting those dinos, I flew like 3 seconds back to the yutyrannus and it was gone.

if the mind wipe only affects stats of course it will keep grams, however you should lose the grams leaving creative and at least leaving the game, if you don't then it's probably a server issue/mod conflict not an ark thing

you weren't working with chances the moment you put them against the probable number of offspring you'll have.

probability never goes above 1. chance for an event never goes above 100%.

assuming the world's ideal. take your 1120 offspring (more or less, breeding intervals are random, so i hope you took your worst time possible). if one parent is capped, chance for at least one mut is 4.06% (it's never halved.). multiply them together, you get the number of offspring that'll probably have at least one mutation. multiply by 1/7 (one out of seven stats, unless you're doing flyers then 1/6) and you get the number of offspring that'll probably have a mut in a stat you want.

your chance for at least one mutation always stays 4.06% at the end of the day. each breeding attempt is an isolated event, the chance won't change the more you breed.

The best way to do it/how all of 1x does it and smalls ect ect, is tame a few males with the high stats you want like hp melee weight depending on tame, and the lowest female possible clone female for more breeding, then get all the stats from the different males onto one male(needs to be male with stars and lowest female likr a lv 5 or 15) then breed over and over, the one make with all the clones, keep any males that have a mutation you want, so for argy youd keep hp melee Stam weight, if its a female mutation it dies, then when the male with mutation raises its the new breeder, keep all mutations on male only and keep the females the low cloned ones, until its cap lv

I forgot to add, when you're breeding the good stats all onto one male, breed the low stats like ox and food and speed from the female(like 2 points in each onto the male) makes the lv lower so more mutation can be gained instead of 30 waisted points into ox and ect

but color has 50/50 chance to come from either parent

umm, you're thinking correctly when you don't want to have unnecessary mutations in your line

the common method is to get 1 male and a bunch of females with the exact same stats (via .. inbreeding), breed them until you get the mutation you want, then replace the male with the mutated offspring

that way your mutations only add up on 1 side and the baby doesn't fill up the 20 counter too fast

there's a really good guide to mutations by SeeShell Gaming on youtube

when my off spring gets old enough to mate will not knowing the parents stats make it harder to tell if theres a stat mutation. IE. my buddy gave me an egg of his dinos, i hatched it and raised it, however idk the original stats of his tamed dinos. the dino i got has a mutation, it has gree legs, now with the obvious green leg mutation is there a stat mutation with it? and if there is how can you tell what it is without knowing the parents original stats? will it be noticeable in its off spring?

but you just need to know the parents' original stats to tell if a baby has a mutation, not the grandparents

so higher level -> better stats -> better tames

but the level represents the total of all stats, so one argy could be high level because it has a good useful stat like health, and another argy could be high level because of a useless stat like oxygen

ive gotten good individual stats from as low as 130, i wouldn’t bother much below that tho

yeah, the level cap only matters for officials and unofficials that enable it tek is usually my go to as X-creatures have resistance (I've heard only on gen1 🤷 so not on fjordur) they take more tranqs and take longer :P

The 'cloud' saves whenever you add/remove something but the map saves every 15 minutes. It saved you removing them but not where they went to. This isn't uncommon.

Ok so mine kept breaking so here's what you can try first make a copy of saved folder, now go to saved arjs local or wherever Ragnarok arks are(I've done this with island before but not Ragnarok.) Look for the ragnirok_dateetc.ark delete backup ragnorok.ark rename latest working Ragnarokarke_date.ark to ragnarok.ark test, if it doesn't work go further if it does you can try one forward till you find and have working latest

If you are talking about a specific Dino that you tamed, you can look at its stats, how much each level makes the stat go up, and then multiply that addition by 88 for the total number of levels the Dino can get. Although I am not sure how helpful that would be really

You can use a trap as well; 2x2 stone foundations, double doorframe the edge, hatchframe the next floor then close that off with 2 layers of walls. Build a ramp going up there as well so you can just lure them in

Once you got your desired 'Mane in the trap then just stand in the middle under it and feed it through the hatchframe

I think it's level 60 on your char for the fight. You probably want to bring veggy cakes for the theris. If they have like 700 melee they don't really need mutations for the gamma
