but if you have the egg incubator you can use it to see what stats it has and abort it, if there is no mutation. (works with eggs as well)

How do i make higher level dinos (like 100+) spawn more often on the island? I've set a difficulty offset of 5 which allows for wild winos up to 150 but hardly ever see them, almost all are between 5-60.

there's also a standard difficulty slider, going from 0 to 1. Default value is 0.2, with value 1 I've seen dinos up to 120 in singleplayer

I have a question regarding transfer of dinos cuz YouTube only covers it if your bringing the character too, lemme explain , I have two separate survivors and I want to transfer the genesis 2 survivors dinos to my valguero survivor , and if my idea about the transfer mechanics are right could I put my survivor from val in the ob and then go to genesis 2 transfer it’s survivor and dinos to val , unclaim the dinos and then transfer it back to gen and then take the val survivor out of the ob and claim the dinos , is this how it works , cuz I don’t wanna loose my valguero save

assuming i understand it properly, yes.

its pretty overcomplicated though if you have commands, you just need to transfer the gen 2 character and dinos, upload gen 2 character to ob and then you can either forcejointribe 0 0 to join the same tribe as your gen 2 character (think this'll make you leave your old tribe) or by using givetome. you need to use another command to transfer imprint bonuses too

well actually, put the dinos in cryopods, upload them on the gen 2 save, go to val and you can take those cryopods out of the obelisk and it'll be yours. no commands necessary.

think you can do the same with the dino tab but it can be pretty glitchy in terms of not saving your stuff and deleting dinos

On L.I. they seem to only spawn between 30;30 and 40;40 coordinates, if there is none maybe it's just bad RNG with the spawns .
If you are plying singleplayer (or on your own server) you could try resetting spawns with destroywilddinos, or if you are also on pc, check your save data with ASV to ensure there is literally 0 on your map currently.

Depending on your home network, you may need to assign a static local IP to your PC on your routed instead of getting one by DHCP, and you may need to forward the ports used by ark to that static IP on your router.

If you are behind strict NAT that can break things too.

If you grab the equus in your claw and crouch-walk on the crab’s arm to the equus while wearing ghillie, and stay crouched next to the equus, you can continue to feed the equus and it’ll tame like a normal passive tame - however, I recommend you use high-level foods like kibble or rockarrots, as from my 2-feed test, the feeding intervals are for some reason WILDLY lengthened. So unless you are a phenomenally patient person, which I am not so I will definitely not be taming this equus as I only have mejoberries on me right now, you can most definitely tame an equus with a karkinos with some patience and a ghillie suit

depends on the creature and your rates. a good rule of thumb is if the creature takes a long time to mature, it will need less care. for example if a dino raises in 2 hours and takes an imprint every 1 hour then it only needs 2 imprints
