Still growing! I think I have completed the roof. . . Maybe. I might cap the top of the water towers/tree brace with sssssomething. I will start working down the support pillars and creating the dino undercroft, and have the behemoth gate area spill out onto the beach. I'll also start the side entrance for small and mid sized walking dinos to access the crafting area for resource unloading purposes.

It seems there is no more build limit? I figured Id have filled up the area by now, but it seems 6K-(ish) tile limit imposed within a certain radius in ASE has been removed in ASA.

It will go up and down after placing but randomly stops working. I used to have a large cellar door above and removed in case it was obstructing. Got a question regarding structure limit. i got this massive base wall and want to build the main buildings in the middle at the water, so it is not directly at the wall. But i don't know in what radius structures affect each other. Does anyone know the radius?

Introducing the Sky Dodger! This skiff redefines luxury! The most notable feature is the translucent hull allowing the rider a 360 degree view of the entire world outside while preserving high expectation of privacy. Upon entering the skiff, there is a bedroom with bathroom along with full service kitchen and living area up front. The bathroom has a toilet with a view and a translucent shower/soaking tub! The front passenger seats gives the rider a feel of being a bird! There is a teleporter allowing riders access to any public TP on the map. Finally, there is a tek console that allows remote control of the gacha factory!

THE LOS IS INSANEE not near as good as the hatchframe towers but i thik this will do, please do come dm me with some tips as this is a painful build and ide rather not use 20000 pillars if you have a roof i need it, maybe if i use one pillar to get railings to snap sideways that might be better

So I bought ASA for Steam last night and I made a little pirate ship to test things out. Came back on today (this is SP) and most of the pieces on my ship have vanished.
I am really hoping to see some improvements in the raft and platform build systems without having to rely on mod support, because making boats and builds that move around is all I really wanna do. I can't even extend the "foundation support" to make a bigger boat - even though I increased my ini settings to allow it.
(Seems to me like the "buildbounds" multiplier is an inaccessible and untestable feature of the game if the snap-point mechanics lack a way to build for it.)

found a way to build at a 45 degree angle.. (horizontal/vertical in picture are stairs)

• build a row of 3 foundations
• attach a ladder on 1 side of the row
• remove the middle foundation
• add a roof up on 1 foundation, roofside facing ladder on the other foundation
• climb ladder and place a spiked wall (doubleclick, don't move mouse!!)
• attach a dinosaur gateway over the spiked wall
• attach a fence foundation to the bottom of the gateway
• attach a pillar to the fence foundation into the ground
• optional: snap a diagonal foundation into the ground

Stupidly tall lol, all built with no gcm and grinding for the resources manually (weight boosted and modified stack sizes on the server, all other stats are official).
This is going to be my characters home, as well as a community center, and a mini adventure for players to explore when Im done filling it in the interiors.

Prepare the cringe and yapping narrative this build was based around! I’ve been in a dark place lately and one of the ways I always dealt with it was through building it all off whether it was on minecraft or other survival sandbox, and I’ve always thought maybe I build with emotion lmao as weird as that my seem when some people ask how I do it!

“…I know, sometimes the world feels cold, the colors of everything around you starts becoming more pale, bleak, stark, and no matter where you look it feels as if you are all alone in the cold barren wasteland that life sometimes is. No matter the stature, sometimes you can’t help but feel like an insignificant speck that just exists but..

Pass through the cold valleys, brush past each boulder and staggering tree in your way, soon you will come to pass upon a grand bridge which seems to be ancient remains of what once was a grand creature of great epic proportions with surely fitting of legend. Through the old soul of the dragon within and it’s blue flames, there lies Coffee’s Windmill, it’s stature is grand, complex, ever twisting, sometimes lost through it’s endless halls. The many arches protruding throughout, the chaotic spirals holding up the mystery of the mirroring gem, and finally a ship powered by mysterious means, engines and all. Shall we gaze upon the skies of flickering lights upon the top of the windmill? Or travel the seas of shimmering stars throughout the vast blanket of the dark, night skies, under the watchful gaze of the moon upon the ship, Astral Gryphon? Who thought it was a good idea to design the wood structures like this? Making them 10 boards high, with only 5 board half walls, so that you need two different versions of half walls, and they don't line up properly. It makes it impossible to avoid crap like this, and then the only decent way to hide it is with the ugliest pillars known to man...

Edit: for those who are telling me to simply press "R", and swap to the alternate half walls, that is not the issue here. As you can see in the screen shots, the second set of half walls are properly aligned to the sloped walls on each side. If I swap to the second type of half walls, it will just move the mismatch to the sloped walls, and not the door.

The left one was my first big build I ever did, made all from stone and my first time experiencing how painful building in ASE was

The right one is my top1 biggest build made all from metal and some parts from TEK, around 200k metal put into it and 1-2 months of time, the middle had a big room for small dino breeding and replicator in the middle, the "arm" 's first part was storage room, and the second part was for small dino storage along with personal quarters above it accessed by a ladder, at the end there was a small building for smelting

so ... wildcard... can you fix your structure limit cause this crap is 1000% bugged... there is NOTHING placed inside the base yet... its literally 1 behemoth gate high... and im hitting structure limit only in this area??? but in other spots i can build?? makes zero sense... I dont have anything fancy just a box no railings, windows, extra pillars just a box and i cant even put a roof on it ... HELLO !???!!!

Try making tapered angles for the rooftops by using the Ceiling pieces, Ramps, Pillars, and Rooftops, kinda like this:

Also, since one of the last updates, I can't climb down a Ladder anymore if there's another Ladder over it. Is this an intended feature change or a new bug?
"Climb Down" Prompt does not appear when looking at the lower ladder.

Tinkering around with makin some boats in Single Player using 2 mods: "Better Rafts" (The wooden one) and "Ceiling Foundations" (For the extra support needed).
