Depends what you want to do, and the quality of the tutorial you're watching. And prior knowledge

In my case? I came in with effectively 0 prior coding experience, but I had an idea of how a lot of things worked from doing a lot of bugtesting for a modder over the prior year or so. I watched Zen's tutorials, and it wasn't too hard to pick up. Graphing is the hardest bit imo, though things can also be hopelessly convoluted (like attacks, alex wants me to do attack stuff and it's a fucking nightmare), resource harvesting, what can damage what structures.. pretty much anything related to damage

There's also a lot of.. quirks and general kit shit you need to be aware of that you really only pick up from other people. I'm infinitely grateful to the modders who taught and still teach me about a lot of those things

remember that each dart is effectively 6 gunpowder and 1 metal, which adds up in the long run

and fish generaly are rare in asgard

If you export it right after you tame it or before you add any levels, it will show the base stats

export the creature in-game by holding E, i think options, export dino option.
import it in ASB.
stats should be extracted. wild + tamed.
just make sure you have multipliers configured to what your server has.

All you do is export a dino from Ark, then Last Export in Smart breeder. No need to do anything else if you just want to see base stats.
