if ur playing fjordur, I saw a lot of pengiuns with organic polymer really close to Vardiland North (Easy), just head east on the shore untill you get to the snowy part where it will have a lot of penguin spawns

for lost island theres a bunch of mantis in the hot scorched earth biome in the open dessert

for The Island theres a bunch of penguins near the NW shores of the map but im pretty sure you already knew that

Imo gen 1s tp system is better because it does a lot of things. Firstly it helps to emphasize the simulation and tek feeling without outright giving you tek (looking at you gen 2) and really promotes exploration with how the resources and dinos are scattered

if you're a beginner, 100% I suggest lost island. fjordur is kinda complicated and difficult. the map is extremely cold, lots of alphas, and complex new mechanics that aren't explained well

guys im in a massive dilema idk if i should tame the tuesothis or the mosa they are very high level but the problem is they are both in the same room in a cave i play singleplayer and i heavily boost the stats but the problem is im scared if i tame either everything else there will go after the tamed creature and idk how to lure one out of the room

ps: i have a couple ichtys with high hp ready for sacrifices and a bunch of narc arrows for the mosa ready as well
