Some animals give more hide than others. How much hide do you need?

food points drop over time so higher points just increase your max points, so you have to eat or drink less often, but thats never a problem since you should have that stuff on you

Kinda, lots of seagulls though. I prefer the jungle around the corner and get a theri from there. The Theri has many purposes and solves many initial problems. You can get it to atack target and quickly get the saddle mats

Really dumb question here but how do dino stats work? Like for example I see that my dino's health pool caps out at 140.7k (164-0) but ,my other dino (same species and higher level) has a cap of 128k (168-0). Since 168 is greater than 164, wouldn't it make sense for the second dino's health pool to be higher..?
