stasis is a system the game uses to stop logic of dinos and structures when they are too far away from players, to save on server resources (and performance). most things (timers) should somewhat catch up when they're back in view.

In simple terms dinos freeze when out of render range of players

That is movement stops and aggression resets

It's to save on server memory so the server doesn't need to calculate thousands of entities changing states a minute (think resources being broken and dinos moving, aggroing and killing each other)

Timers such as spoil and cook timers still go, and health regen, starvation and eating for dinos also continues at the same rate when the dinos are in stasis

So when using the cooking pot to make kibble, don't use wood as fuel, only thatch. Wood makes charcoal which will make dye instead of kibble

let their torpor drain to like 100 torpor and then feed them enough narcoberries to fill them up, easy way of keeping it knocked out for a long time.

Go to an obelisk or terminal of some kind, or a supply drop a server. There should be an upload character button between the two inventories. Select it. There will be a warning that you will drop your items, so put them somewhere first. Go through with it and it will take you to a new screen, select your character and it will let you respawn on one of your beds or in a spawn location. Sorry that was long-winded.

Non dedicated's real issue is the tether. Steam/epic can change the tether, but you will still get teleported to the host randomly as well as when going into caves.

Yes, but creatures that are tamed also get modifiers to certain stats that dododex cannot predict because they’re affected by the taming effectiveness when the creature was tamed
It could easily be made for tamed creatures if they added a box for taming effectiveness, but then danlev would need to add more variables for every single creature and need to update the calculation system, which is just a lot more work than needs to be done, especially when asb exists

Mutation counter in incubator is usually for the parents, only way to tell if a egg mutated is if the level raised by 2 compared to parents, the stat differences, or the color changes
