especially if you've got a pack/flock/etc of creatures attacking you

In terms of function, they're mainly a pvp dino. Reflection damage and they can melt armour and structures. Honestly they weren pretty horrifying to me on first seeing them but now I just view (aberrant) ones as 'rainbow glowstick' so thats all really xD
