Means, that wherever you are, is too hot for you to be. Unless you have the Scorched Earth engrams for the Desert Clothes then the only way to stay cool is with Ghillie armor.

@haughty ice If you're still seeing the fire icon even with the Ghillie Armor then it's way too hot to be in that area. The only way I know to survive in a hot area like that if the Ghillie suit isn't cool enough is with a higher quality of Ghillie Armor from drops, Desert Clothes, higher quality of Desert Clothes from drops, Tech Armor, Ferox shoulder-mounted on you, Riding a mutated Ferox or drinking cold water from a Tech Canteen. Those methods are the only ones I can recall to stay cool from the heat.

One of the mods needs to be updated. This is tricky because it can be either whoever is hosting the server needs to update a mod, or YOU personally need to go through your subscribed mods, unsubscribed from whichever ones were recently updated on the last week, and then from there see if they will redownload properly

I recently did my first boss ever, the monkey king on Lost Island. I’m now working on augmenting all my Tek to ascended level (Upgrade Station Mod) and then from there I’m going to be a able to just absolutely demolish anything that ever comes across me

My main issue with the bosses is that my timing is always bad. Other players on the servers I play on always seem to race to readiness while I like to take my time and enjoy the game. So when they start, I have little to contribute and am just piggybacking, making the rewards feel unearned.

The argent was my first ever time breeding dinos

I was happy how It came out I love my mutated argent

I did, once, I get the gist of it, breed 1 dino with a high melee and 1 with high hp till u get a baby that has both high hp and melee, now get another baby with high stam or high weight, rinse and repeat till u have a male and female with the same stats and i think that's called a 'perfect pair'

The perfect pair is something I don't bother with I just get a bunch of max levels and make a breeding pit and mass breed babies to get colors

Finish your unmutated Perfect Pair before you begin dabbling in mutations. Make sure your Perfect Pair has NO MUTATIONS on the mother father side before you begin if your end goal is to create the ultimate dinosaur for yourself

I can send you my mod list via steam if you’re ever interested. We settled on about 26 and we’ve been tweaking and testing new mods for years now. I think I have found all the mods that sincerely make the game “playable” for those who do not have a lot of time to commit to the game or have others in the server who can’t be on very often but still want to have fun

There’s been people I’ve seen with super computers that have a hard time handling ARK. It’s just so poorly optimized and if the settings aren’t correct EVERYWHERE including setting special GPU and game.ini internal parameters that it’s enough to crash even a top of the line computer

I’ve definitely come close to accidentally breaking everything following some really bad advice editing things that I didn’t know what their actual purpose was. Gotta be super super careful and save your old settings be ready to restore it back to the previous settings if you mess it up to a point of no return
