So I left my base to try to tame some dinopithecus and when I got back to my base I found a Rex attacking stegos next to it so I used my bary to kill the Rex and stego then when I turned around another Rex had spawned right next to my base so I kill it, then there was an alpha carno behind my base, this is a sign I need to move

I believe if it is dead, it will show a “your tame died” message basically at the top of your screen, and check tribe log. If you know the general direction of your icthy, also go over there and make sure to whistle passive and stop all, it might have swam away if it was being attacked
