OK, closest to an obelisk (green) is probably Gloomy Coast, then southwest to the ob. You CAN go Kesler Inlet NE to the blue ob, but there's a valley on the way with a fair amount of baddies. Still, if you are careful and fast you can probably do that. if you get to the cave north of the land bridge that goes to the snow castle, that tunnel is clear and leads straight to the blue obelisk

The Gloomy Coast to green ob has a bit of jungle, again with the sneak quietly and quickly

Now once you do a note run and get to level 70,well I do small tribes which is a 2.5x for a everything and there's just normal ark which is just 1.0x for harvesting, taming,breeding,bla bla bla,but you should always get friends atleast 3-5 and make a tribe,now carefully select your stats since each level up gives a level in which you can spend to increase health,stamina,oxygen(oxygen also increase swimming speed by a bit),food and water which are useless so I suggest don't spend any in those,weight so you can carry more,I suggest you put enough points until you can hold 200-250, strength if you like to foot pvp mensing just you and someone else no dinos,or if you wanna knock out some easy takes with your fists or club or kill them easily,but you mostly rely on dinos once you tame one that can do a lot of damage like a trike/triceratops,speed which will help alot so put some levels into that too,it increases swimming speed too,and fortitude which is torpidity so like it makes it where you take more hits and are more likely to not get knocked out

And once you finish leveling up, you'll get points to put into things that you'll be able to craft depending on your level,now here's the thing,even at max level,you won't have enough points to get everything so I suggest that you carefully learn the things that will help you the most,don't go all willy nilly and learn a phioma saddle,which is like an animal that is just,there,sucks at everything aside from making feces for fertilizer,

Now learning all the dinos and what they do will be hard and will take some time but I believe in you,there are alot of them useful for everything,pvp,meat runs, metal stone and berry gatherers,tanking turret and other dino damage,etc

For starters,get a parasaur,make a bola,bola it,knock it out,get berries,feed it,wait,make a saddle,boom

Now dinos have levels,meaning more health better stats,so more damage, gathering more resources,more stamina,and other things

Also stay away from the deep ends of the water

Oh and there are the elements aka the heat and cold,being cold or freezing makes you starve faster(and you take damage),and for heat it dehydrates you faster and damages you too, fortitude makes you take less of the elements,and specific armor do,just not armor used to protect you since logic and shit

Whenever you're in red zone if you ever get lost look for the metal spine, if you follow it you will always find your way back to the middle of the map

I just get the lowest food an oxygen stat I can find before breeding because having a low level be OP is a nice thing to experience

I mean don't you only get a 75 level bonus for a max level rex = 225, so a 300+ would mean high food an oxygen stat on the baby, not just those, all stats in general

Yes you can. Whatever file is on your computer regardless of whether it started in one mode or not is the file being used

You can also use that file to make a dedicated server but that's really all dependant on if the host allows you to do so.
