Like, i hatched a few wyvern eggs for example.. And they matured completely in like 10 mins.. The imprinting was happening every 30-40 secs.. But, it was only growing up like 2% per imprint. None of the settings i found online actually work on imprinting

Depends. If I was looking to fight bosses I’d go for a rex. But for a general mount I’m gonna use for gameplay a spino would be preferred due to its hydration buff and use as a water tame.

You’ll get more use out of it. You’ll be able to handle anything your Rex can and more. Plus better speed and incredibly powerful if you’re in any kind of water.

Depends on the level but you could probably knock out a lvl 150 with well under 50 arrows

Unless there’s a glitch to prevent it, I’m 99% sure you can’t unfortunately. The mutation counter on either side will always go up if one of the parents has a mutation regardless of it being a stat or colour

What people do is they stack stat mutations before hand, this way your getting cool mutations on previous creatures. After, people will get the final good stat creature and breed it with the colours they desire

this way the mutation counter won’t affect the odds of you getting mutations into stats you desire in the future

Obviously you can do the colours first and then use the offspring from them creatures to make the good stat creatures but if the counter goes over 20 on one side then your chances of getting mutations are halved

Or what you can do is have separate groups of creatures breeding

One group for stats and another group for colours

Though in vanilla ark it’s quite a handful handling multiple breeding groups

since what people tend to do is have different groups for each stat they desire

@finite radish I personally like near the waterfall in the middle left of the map edge, close to 2 obelisks and closest to pretty much every resource. Oil, crystal, metal, organic polymer. Also further up on the point just before the snow starts there's always loads of meat to harvest when you get a rex.

That's my fave spot anyway

Also I prefer coast as I can build a behemoth water pen for plesi or tuso and just above it I install a greenhouse so its boxed off and in the water

'best' is subjective for what you prefer and what you're using them for. also given r gigas have higher damage than regular I'd consider them better

This is fair. Use them to do red and purple osd drops and things so just prefer best possible and from I've been told R gigas aren't as good due to the way the health scaling on them works

The 3% is the base stats it affects. So that 3% I think ends up being more than a 3% difference in health
