Anyone know what the xp drip for being a level 155 in a tek sleeping pod is? When you go past level 135 it stops giving you xp when you’re online and instead only gives it to you when offline. I went into single player and noticed that the xp per tick actually goes up the higher level you are. When I was around level 135 it was 2 xp per tick and when level 100 it was 1.5 xp per tick.

So would it be about 2.5 xp per tick?

Apparently they have it where every time the server ticks (when it refreshes) if give you xp instead of every irl second.

But for some reason it stops giving you xp when you hit level 135 so I did some research and found out that it’s been a thing for a while.

Just trying to figure out how long it would for my character to be in a tek bed in order to get to max level.

If it was 2.5 xp per tick then it would still take me more than a year to get to max level…. 😞

if you're on unofficial, consider the Custom Levels mod. It has presets for good balanced spawn levels, and you can customize it to spawn everything at high level. (That makes Ark harder, but also gives you good tames for breeding.)

The saddle weighs 20, your armor, whatever is in your inventory, you can level the weight. The lower the level, the worse the weight. An after tame 130+ will usually always have better stats than a 40 something

I’m not sure what level you are but I recommend taming an argentavis, they get reduced weight for things like Crystal, obsidian and metal

You don’t need to be riding them either to get these reductions

Regardless of level I would recommend it

Whilst you don’t unlock its saddle until like the mid 50s to 60s, it can hold a lot for you and you can have it follow you

They’re very easy to tame however

So I think I messed up with breeding mutations. I started with 191 and got 10 mutations each in 4 stats and started combining them yesterday. Two combined stat mutations made a level 231 and so I’m worried if I’ll be able to combine two 231s or am I going to hit the level cap at 256?

raising the difficulty does raise the amount of health and I think melee bosses do, so if you raise difficulty but lower the offset (so the wild levels are the same) that would work I think it also changes loot quality tho, so that would need to be lowered.
