those are all good for seperate purposes

thylas and baryonyxs are great for caves, but one specalizes in parkour and terrain, while the other can fight well in water

raptor....it's a good scout, if nothing else

spinos are great for just running around killing everything, quite powerful

Well overall level doesn't matter so much as the actual stats- You could get a 130 that's got better melee and health than a 150- but the chances of getting good stats on a 130 are low in comparison to a 150

To be more efficient, once you have your perfect spino, try and get a male and female of it, and then try and get like 20 female clones from it. What you'll look for after that is a male that has a higher stat if what you want (like Melee or health). Then you just breed that male over and over until you get the mutation you want. (usually you focus on one line like only melee first). You throw away anything that isn't the next melee mutation you need. When you get a melee mutation, you take that male and replace your breeding male with that one. And keep going until you get max mutations for that stat.

tek saddles have 45 base armor vs normal saddles 25 base armor. the lasers are nice but eat through element like water in the desert

which is fine if you are on extinction or later, and element is easy to get thousands of

the nice thing about the lasers though, is that they have a small aoe explosion at impact, which is great for luring purlovias out of burrow safely
