I checked out the swamp to the south west, found a 145 Diplocaulus but no dimetrodon. Just checked out the swamp on the mainland, 60, 40 nothing there.

I think I'm going to have to get my owl, and have the argent follow me. Use the C vision to spot one then get on the argent and pick it up.

that 243% is the stat of the father

if you breed more then it'll always be 243%, apart from mutations of course

Well...that was less eventful than I expected. As I was approaching desert deathland a level 55 moth came up from behind me low. It was right over this tiny island, bola'd it out of midair put 17 arrows in (more than enough in the face) but it didn't go down. I've had issues with dinos taking way more than they should to go down. I managed to bola it again and put more in, quickly gathered narco berries as it flew away again, chased it back across the oceon and as it approached land, bola'd it over the water, still wouldn't go down, it got free got over the beach and I bola'd it again. Ran out of arrows, and punched it about 10 times and it was down.

as a spino and reaper lover both are great. Spino is fantastic for doing missions, he is fast, mobile, and turns 360 in a second, great AoE. Meat runs fast as ever and work great as bodyguards. Reaper is more mobile, tanky but slow attacks. I did used them both on exti drops and battling all bosses in the game.

they lead to the biolum region

Yes it will slowly lose health and eventually break if not repaired but it takes a long time

You have to trap it but if you haven't even gotten to the gas collector stage, you're waaaay far away from that
