For cave i would use a really good thyla, the can climb if needs be and are tanky, tho watch out for the ice cave on the island the purlovia are all over the place ( my top for that is tame 10-20 dodos, throw one out and send it as far ahead of you as you can that usually get the purlovia out of the ground

Better method, but it takes some effort: jump off your argy while it's flying, use a parachute, and then shoot a grappling hook onto the argy. Then switch to your tranqs, whistle the argy to attack the quetz and then to stop so you can get close to it without the argy hitting it. Just keep chasing it and shooting

level 11 can VERY rarely have a globe that can take you back to regular reality

You can breed your ideal stat ones with the one with the color you want and you have a chance to just inherit the colors

But it will count against the cap

If you're breeding your male with random females you're multiplying the time it'll take by many times

Before you can start doing a mutation line your male and females all need to be perfectly identical

That way there's no additional randomness involved

Well i dont remember the base stats of the tek

So if i want to breed i need to look for the colors

The others i have been doing it some time so i know the base stats

You can work around that

Go tame a low level tek rex of the opposite gender and breed them together, anytime you get a higher level one swap that out for the low level, eventually you'll stop getting higher levels

And that was the base level of the current tek rex

Alternatively you can just use a spyglass mod which will show its base stats
