No I've used a couple cheats in the beginning but I just stick to god mode now. I know that I can die from heat and cold and dehydration and all that with it on. I also tried to turn on EnableCheats but it gave me "bad or missing property pass" so I'm verifying the game.

That’s usually referring to a “closed NAT” setup / setting on your router.
Has to do with external servers / “the internet” being able (or respectively for strict nat: being limited) to send data directly through open ports.
Hosting servers often / normally require open NAT setups on your router.
How that is done depends abit on your hardware, there should be guides available that specify if port forwarding is needed or sth else too for a specific router

Well the NAT warning only appeared once and then I was able to launch my game. (I can't remember all of what the script was saying. It just wanted my password which it never asked me before. Then it closed on me when I tried a password but it no longer is asking for that.) I use the cheat on my host local- play single player. I'm only using god mode so I can go explore without getting eaten alive.

So you created a local host / non dedicated server i assume? Given you at some point had to enter a password and say host - local ?
(Single Player functions a bit differently than non dedicated servers, that’s why I asked where you wanted to use the cheat 🙂)

Did you properly enable cheats for your non dedi/local host? Like you have to type (into the ^ console)

Hm im not sure but the whole non dedicated seems oftentimes more like a improvised solution, so could’ve been a bug before or now or sth 😝

Also (that’s just a theory no idea if that is even possible software - wise by ark ) the NAT setup of yours caused the non dedicated to be actually SP instead as it couldn’t connect „outwards“ properly before, so using cheats like in Single player (just entering god without password or admincheat) did actually work. Now that it’s a „proper“ non dedicated you need to do the full process.
But again that’s just sth that came to mind, no idea if that could even be possible or not ^^

A specific resource in a certain place, or just everything faster

Natural ones will respawn after being harvested. Maybe use preventhibernation as a startup parameter so they’re guaranteed to respawn if you don’t render the area in.
You can adjust the Intervall as well as the prevention radius around you in the settings before starting your world

Lost island uses completely custom spawn containers so basically no mods that add in new creatures which don't piggy back spawns will work.

And with jurassic Park being discontinued, it's likely it will never be compatible with Lost island even once added to the dev kit.

You would need to manually set every spawn with simple spawners. Though I think Ugz is working on a version 2.0

lighting is the most accurate with the most dmg output, fire has a nifty DOT effect and a wider cone of attack, posion can basically bomb entire areas with damaging clouds of smoke, doing decent damage, and ice is the weakest but good for slowing things down. hope this helped 👍

My old crystal isles server had meshers in “patched” mesh holes. They patched the hole but didn’t wipe the people inside. Made them un-raidable.

You can have unofficial servers on ps4, but ps4 cannot crossplay unless you count ps4 to ps5. And its ark so im not sure why you wouldn't be able to talk about it.

Hit join, and then the session filter at the bottom, and scroll down to "unofficial pc sessions" (I know the name of it is confusing, its just servers hosted from a website or another machine), and then pick one and you can play.

No, you can't play steam with Playstation.

Ark is crossplay available between the Steam, Epic Games, and Google Stadia versions without mods. The Xbox/Windows 10 versions are both Microsoft store versions and are crossplay compatible, as is xbox one to xbox series s or series x. Playstation is only compatible between ps4 and ps5.
