I have never encountered a despawning dino but from what I understand it is a setting for them to 'decay' if owned and abandoned and I would assume wild have the same. Again, I have never encountered it, I have had bigger mobs stay on my server for weeks at a time. One thing to note though, if you clear an area and run out of render and come back, they are likely to respawn

With the help of my tribe we completed the required missons for gamma and beta, we go in with rexs and feroxes, it's really hard but we pull through.. with only 1 dead player and a few dead dinos.. we get our gamma rewards and decide let's see what betas like? We go in.... It's really easy??? We 1 shot all mobs??? Boss dies super quick?? We kill the boss... and black screen for all 10 players bye bye ark accounts,

So to sum that up.... The ark devs released gen 1 with the difficulty of the bosses mixed up..... gamma had the difficulty of beta
And beta was the difficulty of gamma

2 months it took for us to get responses to our tickets for completing the current end game content....

Do you set up separate lines (like one male+a number of females dedicated solely to stacking melee muts, another for hp muts) and then breed those together when you've got, say, twenty muts stacked in health and another 20 in melee?

I've always been told to keep a massive number of nonmut females to breed to one mutated male, and scrap any babies that don't stack any muts. If they're female, breed em to a clean male til you get a male with the mut and replace your original male, rinse and repeat

The way I've BEEN doing it is dedicating different groups to stacking muts just into one health(so like. 20 clean females to one mutated male with ONLY hp muts) and culling any babies that don't stack another mut into hp, and doing that likewise for melee, stam, etc but I'm starting to feel like I might be kneecapping myself there

but it takes a good bit of ram, I'd suggest at least 12 GB for 2 people
