You know while in water you cannot use a baryonix's Stunning Strike on a kraprosuckass. So in theory you can use them as a way of taming baryonix while in water without getting dismounted.

Here is the problem with that however. Kraprosuckasses are kinda like the raptor or the Pppteranadon. Exept with the raptor or the pteranadon you have to spend 1 year to level up their weight and 1 year to level up their (my brain stopped working before I could say what the other thing you have to spend a year leveling up here) before they are worth riding.

Except with the kraprosuckass you also have to spend a 3rd year leveling up their health.

You should never even THINK about going into a biom where they spawn until you have a platform saddle on a paracter. If you get dismounted you still have that neat little platform to land on instead of being on the ground getting ripped apart by 666 carnos 666 raptors 666 terror birds 50 dire bears 11 gigantopifaguseseseses and a alpha creature while unable to move because of the yellow light radiating from the spell it casts while dismounting you.

What we need is to be able to tame a wild male A-10 Warthog and a wild female B-52 and cross breed them together. Then fill all 600 tame limit slots with these creatures and ride them over the habitat they live in and carpet bomb them to the 9 hells!

Of course many of you will still die from getting dismounted while over 800 yards above the ground, however...
That is a noble sacrifice I am willing to make.

At least you may still be able to shoot some down with 35mm bullets and air to air missiles before they get close enough to dismount you.

1st tame? Like first dino? Parasaur is a good start, trust default. Trikes are amazingly handy but you need to be able to handle their aggro once you try to tranq them. Pteranadons are super useful once you can make the saddle

"scouts" arent going to hurt you themselves. If you kill those scouts, they drop a blueprint item you can craft your own scout works like an external set of eyes when you activate it on your hotbar with Element Dust in your inventory.

Remember when raptors could pounce, and they could use this to dismount you and hold you still for 7 other raptors to finish you off.
And it was a magical pounce that could bypass your shield.
And mean while your brain is screaming about how it knows a raptor trying to pounce you would go very differently if you had a spear with you in real life. (No I mean if they actually tried that, who doesn't have a spear?)
And you would never dare go on land because raptors made it unsafe?

Go to where the beach is that hyenadons like to spawn on where there is a little puddle that coalacaths and pirrahnas spawn in, to the north crystal where the snow meets the sea, and up hill is mountany snow. Now, from where that uphill trail is, turn completely around.
Go to where the beach is furthest from that hill.
And out to sea here.
Within the depths of that area you are likely to find plusies as well as mossas, but beware. If you go to the wrong spot you will end up entering a cave.
In this cave the first thing you will hear as you enter it is a buzzing sound.
And then you will see 80 thousand eels coming at you.

Near this cave, and along this area all the way to near the red obelisk, this is where you can find a male and female plusy spawn point, mosa spawn points, and leopluradon spawn points.
Rarely, but sometimes, even a calamari will spawn here.

That one fish that swallowed Johnna also tends to spawn here so don't bring a raft.

Also alpha megalodons spawn here as well so if you are level 105 and have a chibi its a good place to grind XP.
